Sahih al-Bukhari 5476
Adi bin Hatim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I asked Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) about the Mi'rad ( َِاضالْمِعْر). He said, ‘if you hit the game with its sharp edge, eat it, but if the Mi'rad hits the game with its shaft with a hit by its broad side do not eat it, for it has been beaten to death with a piece of wood (unlawful).’ I asked, ‘if I let lose my trained hound after a game?’ He said, ‘if you let loose your trained hound after game, and mention the name of Allah, then you can eat.’ I said, ‘if the hound eats of the game?’ He said, ‘then you should not eat of it, for the hound has hunted the game for itself and not for you.’ I said, "sometimes I send my hound and then I find some other hound with it?’ He said ‘don't eat the game, as you have mentioned the Name of Allah on your dog only and not on the other.’
سیدنا عدی بن حاتم ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے نوکدار لکڑی سے شکار کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”جب تم اس کی نوک سے شکار کو مار لو تو اسے کھاؤ لیکن اگر عرض کے بل شکار کو لگے اور جانور مر جائے تو وہ موقوذہ ( مردار) ہے اسے نہ کھاؤ۔“ میں نے دوسرا سوال کیا کہ میں اپنا کتا بھی چھوڑتا ہوں؟ پھر میں اس کے ساتھ دوسرے کتے کو بھی پاتا ہوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”وہ شکار تم نہ کھاؤ کیونکہ تم نے اپنے کتے پر بسم اللہ پڑھی تھی دوسرے ہر نہیں پڑھی تھی۔“
Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (radiyallahu anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: ke mein ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se nokdar lakri se shikar ke mutalliq poocha to Aap ne farmaya: ‘Jab tum is ki nok se shikar ko maar lo to ise khao lekin agar arz ke bal shikar ko lage aur jaanwar mar jaye to wo mauzooza (murdar) hai ise na khao.’ Mein ne doosra sawal kiya ke mein apna kutta bhi chhorta hoon? Phir mein is ke saath doosre kutte ko bhi pata hoon? Aap ne farmaya: ‘Wo shikar tum na khao kyunke tum ne apne kutte par Bismillah parhi thi doosre har nahi parhi thi.’
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمِعْرَاضِ ؟ فَقَالَ : إِذَا أَصَبْتَ بِحَدِّهِ فَكُلْ فَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَقَتَلَ فَإِنَّهُ وَقِيذٌ ، فَلَا تَأْكُلْ ، فَقُلْتُ : أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي ، قَالَ : إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كَلْبَكَ وَسَمَّيْتَ فَكُلْ ، قُلْتُ : فَإِنْ أَكَلَ ؟ قَالَ : فَلَا تَأْكُلْ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ إِنَّمَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ ، قُلْتُ : أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَأَجِدُ مَعَهُ كَلْبًا آخَرَ ، قَالَ : لَا تَأْكُلْ ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتَ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تُسَمِّ عَلَى آخَرَ .
