Sahih al-Bukhari 5543
Rafi bin Khadij (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I said to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), ‘we will be facing the enemy tomorrow and we have no knives (for slaughtering).’ He said, ‘if you slaughter the animal with anything that causes its blood to flow out, and if Allah's Name is mentioned on slaughtering it, eat of it, unless the killing instrument is a tooth or nail. I will tell you why: As for the tooth, it is a bone; and as for the nail, it is the knife of Ethiopians.’ The quick ones among the people got the war booty while the Prophet ( صلىہللا عليه و آله وسلم) was behind the people. So they placed the cooking pots on the fire, but the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ordered the cooking pots to be turned upside down. Then he distributed (the war booty) among them, considering one camel as equal to ten sheep. Then a camel belonging to the first party of people ran away and they had no horses with them, so a man shot it with an arrow whereby Allah stopped it. The Prophet ( صلى ہللا عليهو آله وسلم) said, ‘of these animals there are some which are as wild as wild beasts. So, if anyone of them runs away like this, do like this (shoot it with an arrow)’.’
سیدنا رافع بن خدیج ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کی: کل ہمارا دشمن سے مقابلہ ہوگا اور ہمارے پاس چھریاں نہیں ہیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو آلہ بھی خون بہا دے اسے کھاؤ بشرطیکہ اس پر اللہ کا نام لیا گیا ہو نیز ذبح کا آلہ دانت اور ناخن نہں ہونا چاہیئے اورمیں اس کی وجہ تمہیں بتائے دیتا ہوں کہ دانت تو ہڈی ہے اور ناخن اہل حبشہ کی چھری ہے۔“ اس دوران میں کچھ لوگ آگے بڑھ گئے اور مال غنیمت پر قبضہ کر لیا جبکہ نبی ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کرام ؓ کے ہمراہ پیچھے تھے، ان لوگوں نے گوشت کی دیگیں چڑھا دیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے حکم دیا تو انہیں الٹ دیا گیا۔ پھر آپ نے لوگوں میں مال غنیمت تقسیم کیا اور ایک اونٹ دس بکریوں کے برابر قرار دیا۔ جو لوگ آگے تھے ان کا ایک اونٹ بدک کر بھاگ نکلا۔ لوگوں کے پاس گھوڑے نہیں تھے اسلیے ایک شخص نے اس اونٹ کو تیر مارا تو اللہ تعالٰی نے اسے روک لیا۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ جانور بھی کبھی وحشی جانوروں کی طرح بدکنے لگتے ہیں، اس لیے جب ان میں کوئی ایسا کرے تو تم بھی اس کے ساتھ ایسا ہی برتاؤ کرو۔
Sayyiduna Rafi bin Khadeej (radiyallahu anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke mein ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se arz ki: Kal hamara dushman se muqabla hoga aur hamare paas churiyan nahi hain. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: ‘Jo aala bhi khoon baha de ise khao bashart-e-ke is par Allah ka naam liya gaya ho neez zibah ka aala daant aur nakhun nahi hona chahiye aur mein is ki wajah tumhein bataye deta hoon ke daant to haddi hai aur nakhun ahl-e-Habsha ki churi hai.’ Is dauran mein kuch log aage barh gaye aur maal-e-ghaneemat par qabza kar liya jabke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) apne Sahaba-e-Karam (radiyallahu anhum) ke humrah peeche thay, in logon ne gosht ki degein charha dein. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne hukm diya to inhein ulat diya gaya. Phir Aap ne logon mein maal-e-ghaneemat taqseem kiya aur ek oont das bakriyon ke barabar qarar diya. Jo log aage thay un ka ek oont badak kar bhag nikla. Logon ke paas ghore nahi thay isliye ek shakhs ne is oont ko teer mara to Allah Ta'ala ne ise rok liya. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: Yeh jaanwar bhi kabhi wahshi jaanwaron ki tarah badakne lagte hain, is liye jab in mein koi aisa kare to tum bhi is ke saath aisa hi bartao karo.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّنَا نَلْقَى الْعَدُوَّ غَدًا وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا مُدًى ، فَقَالَ : مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ وَذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ فَكُلُوهُ ، مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ سِنٌّ وَلَا ظُفُرٌ ، وَسَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ : أَمَّا السِّنُّ فَعَظْمٌ ، وَأَمَّا الظُّفْرُ فَمُدَى الْحَبَشَةِ ، وَتَقَدَّمَ سَرَعَانُ النَّاسِ فَأَصَابُوا مِنَ الْغَنَائِمِ ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ النَّاسِ ، فَنَصَبُوا قُدُورًا ، فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُكْفِئَتْ وَقَسَمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ، وَعَدَلَ بَعِيرًا بِعَشْرِ شِيَاهٍ ، ثُمَّ نَدَّ بَعِيرٌ مِنْ أَوَائِلِ الْقَوْمِ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُمْ خَيْلٌ فَرَمَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِسَهْمٍ فَحَبَسَهُ اللَّهُ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ لِهَذِهِ الْبَهَائِمِ أَوَابِدَ كَأَوَابِدِ الْوَحْشِ ، فَمَا فَعَلَ مِنْهَا هَذَا فَافْعَلُوا مِثْلَ هَذَا .
