Chapter: What may be eaten of the meat of sacrifices and what may be taken as journey food
١٦
باب مَا يُؤْكَلُ مِنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِيِّ وَمَا يُتَزَوَّدُ مِنْهَا
Sahih al-Bukhari 5573
Abu Ubaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he witnessed the Eid with Ali bin Abi Talib ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) and he too offered the Eid prayer before the sermon and then delivered the sermon before the people and said, ‘Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) has forbidden you to eat the meat of your sacrifices for more than three days.’
سیدنا ابو عبید ہی روایت کرتے ہیں کہ پھر عید کے دن سیدنا علی ؓ کے ہمراہ تھا انہوں نے خطبہ سے پہلے نماز عید پڑھی پھر لوگوں کو خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے تمہیں اپنی قربانی کا گوشت تین دن سے زیادہ تک کھانے کی ممانعت کی ہےمعمر نے امام زہری سے انہوں نے ابو عبید سے اسی طرح بیان کیا ہے۔
Sayyiduna Abu Ubaid hi riwayat karte hain ke phir eid ke din Sayyiduna Ali (radiyallahu anhu) ke humrah tha unhon ne khutba se pehle namaz-e-eid parhi phir logon ko khutba dete hue farmaya: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne tumhein apni qurbani ka gosht teen din se zyada tak khane ki mamanat ki hai Ma'mar ne Imam Zuhri se unhon ne Abu Ubaid se isi tarah bayan kiya hai.
قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ : ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُهُ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ نُسُكِكُمْ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ ، وعَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ نَحْوَهُ .
