Sahih al-Bukhari 564
Narrated `Abdullah: One night Allah's Apostle led us in the `Isha' prayer and that is the one called Al-`Atma [??] by the people. After the completion of the prayer, he faced us and said, Do you know the importance of this night? Nobody present on the surface of the earth tonight will be living after one hundred years from this night. (See Hadith No. 575).
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ایک شب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں نماز عشاء پڑھائی اور یہ وہی نماز ہے جسے لوگ "عتمة" کہتے تھے، پھر نماز سے فراغت کے بعد ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: ’’کیا تمہیں اس رات کے متعلق خبر دوں، آج جو لوگ روئے زمین پر ہیں، آج سے ایک صدی پوری ہونے تک ان میں سے کوئی باقی نہیں رہے گا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Ek shab Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein namaz-e-isha parhayi aur yeh wahi namaz hai jise log 'Atmah' kehte thay, phir namaz se faraghat ke baad hamari taraf mutawajjah hue aur farmaya: ''Kya tumhein is raat ke mutaliq khabar doon, aaj jo log ruye zameen par hain, aaj se ek sadi poori hone tak in mein se koi baqi nahi rahe ga.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ سَالِمٌ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي يَدْعُو النَّاسُ الْعَتَمَةَ ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا ، فَقَالَ : أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَيْلَتَكُمْ هَذِهِ ، فَإِنَّ رَأْسَ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ مِنْهَا لَا يَبْقَى مِمَّنْ هُوَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ أَحَدٌ .
