Sahih al-Bukhari 6077
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘it is not lawful for a man to desert his brother Muslim for more than three nights. It is unlawful for them that when they meet, one of them turns his face away from the other, and the other turns his face from the former, and the better of the two will be the one who greets the other first.’
حضرت ابو ایوب انصاری ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کسی آدمی کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ وہ اپنے بھائی کے ساتھ تین دن سے زیادہ میل ملاقات چھوڑے رہے، ا س طرح جب دونوں کا سامنا ہو جائے تو یہ بھی منہ پھیر لے۔ اور ان دونوں میں بہتر وہ ہے جو سلام کرنے میں پہل کرے۔“
Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Kisi aadmi ke liye ja'iz nahi ke wo apne bhai ke saath teen din se zyada mail-mulaqat chhorhay rahe, is tarah jab dono ka saamna ho jaye to yeh bhi munh pher lay. Aur in dono mein behtar wo hai jo salaam karne mein pehal kare."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ ، يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا ، وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ .
