Sahih al-Bukhari 629
Abu Dhar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated : 'We were in the company of the Prophet ( صلى ہللاعليه و آله وسلم) on a journey and the Mu'adh-dhin wanted to pronounce the Adhan for the (Zuhr) prayer. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to him, "Let it become cooler." Then he again wanted to pronounce the Adhan but the Prophet ( صلى ہللاعليه و آله وسلم) said to him, "Let it become cooler." The Mu'adh-dhin again wanted to pronounce the Adhan for the prayer but the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, "Let it become cooler," till the shadows of the hillocks become equal to their sizes. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) added, "The severity of the heat is from the raging of Hell."
حضرت ابوذر غفاری ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ہم کسی سفر میں نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے، مؤذن نے (ظہر کی) اذان کہنے کا ارادہ کیا تو آپ نے اس سے فرمایا: ’’ذرا ٹھنڈا ہو جانے دو۔‘‘ اس نے پھر اذان کہنے کا ارادہ کیا تو آپ نے پھر فرمایا: ’’ذرا اور ٹھنڈا ہو جانے دو۔‘‘ اس نے تیسری مرتبہ اذان کہنے کا ارادہ کیا تو آپ نے اس سے فرمایا: ’’ذرا مزید ٹھنڈا ہونے دو۔‘‘ یہاں تک کہ جب سایہ ٹیلوں کے برابر ہو گیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’گرمی کی شدت، جہنم کی بھاپ سے ہوتی ہے۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Zar Ghiffari (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Hum kisi safar mein Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hamrah thay, muazzin ne (zohar ki) azan kehne ka irada kiya to aap ne us se farmaya: ''Zara thanda ho jane do.'' Us ne phir azan kehne ka irada kiya to aap ne phir farmaya: ''Zara aur thanda ho jane do.'' Us ne teesri martaba azan kehne ka irada kiya to aap ne us se farmaya: ''Zara mazeed thanda hone do.'' Yahan tak ke jab saya teelon ke barabar ho gaya to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Garmi ki shiddat, Jahannum ki bhaap se hoti hai.''
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْمُهَاجِرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَأَرَادَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : أَبْرِدْ ، ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : أَبْرِدْ ، ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : أَبْرِدْ ، حَتَّى سَاوَى الظِّلُّ التُّلُولَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ .
