باب الاِسْتِعَاذَةِ مِنْ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِتْنَةِ النَّارِ

Sahih al-Bukhari 6375
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to say, O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness from geriatric old age, from being in debt, and from committing sins. O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the Fire, the afflictions of the grave, the punishment in the grave, and the evil of the affliction of poverty and from the evil of the affliction caused by Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart from the sins as a white garment is cleansed of filth, and let there be a far away distance between me and my sins as You have set far away the East and the West from each other.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہا سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ دعا کیا کرتے تھے: ’’اے اللہ! میں کاہلی، بڑھاپے، قرض اور گناہ سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے اللہ! میں دوزخ کے عذاب، دوزخ کی آزمائش، قبر کی آزمائش اور عذاب قبر، نیز فتنۂ ثروت کے شر، فتنۂ فقر کے شر اور مسیح دجال کی بری آزمائش سے تیری پناه مانگتا ہوں۔ اے اللہ میرے گناہوں کو برف اور اولے کے پانی سے دھو دے۔ میرے دل کو گناہوں سے اس طرح پاک کر دے جس طرح سفید کپڑا میل کچیل سے صاف کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ میرے اور میرے گناہوں کے درمیان اتنا فاصلہ کر دے جتنا مشرق و مغرب میں ہے۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) dua kiya karte thay: ’’Ae Allah! Main kahli, burhape, qarz aur gunah se teri panah maangta hoon. Ae Allah! I Main dozakh ke azab, dozakh ki aazmaish, qabr ki aazmaish aur azab-e-qabr, neez fitna-e-tharwat ke sharr, fitna-e-faqr ke sharr aur Maseeh Dajjal ki buri aazmaish se teri panah maangta hoon. Ae Allah mere gunahon ko baraf aur owle ke paani se dho de. Mere dil ko gunahon se is tarah paak kar de jis tarah safed kapra mail kachail se saaf kar diya jata hai. Mere aur mere gunahon ke darmiyan itna fasla kar de jitna mashriq-o-maghrib mein hai.’’
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ ، وَالْهَرَمِ ، وَالْمَغْرَمِ ، وَالْمَأْثَمِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ ، وَفِتْنَةِ النَّارِ ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، وَشَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى ، وَشَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَايَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ ، وَنَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ، وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطَايَايَ كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ .
