Sahih al-Bukhari 642
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that once the Iqama was pronounced and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was talking to a man (in a low voice) in a corner of the mosque and he did not lead the prayer till (some of) the people had slept (dozed in a sitting posture).
حضرت انس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: ایک دفعہ نماز کے لیے اقامت ہو گئی جبکہ نبی ﷺ مسجد کے ایک گوشے میں کسی سے آہستہ آہستہ باتیں کر رہے تھے چنانچہ آپ نماز کے لیے کھڑے نہیں ہوئے یہاں تک کہ کچھ لوگوں کو نیند آنے لگی۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Ek dafa namaz ke liye iqamat ho gayi jabke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) masjid ke ek goshe mein kisi se ahista ahista batain kar rahe thay chunancha aap namaz ke liye khare nahi hue yahan tak ke kuch logon ko neend aane lagi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنَاجِي رَجُلًا فِي جَانِبِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ .
