Chapter: The superiority of offering the Zuhr prayer early

باب فَضْلِ التَّهْجِيرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 653
Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Five are martyrs: One who dies of plague, one who dies of an Abdominal disease, one who dies of drowning, one who is buried alive (and) dies and one who is killed in Allah's cause." (The Prophet (ﷺ) further said, "If the people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan and for standing in the first row (in the congregational prayer) and found no other way to get it except by drawing lots they would do so,
پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’شہداء پانچ قسم کے ہیں: طاعون میں مرنے والے، پیٹ کے عارضے سے مرنے والے، ڈوب کر مرنے والے، دب کر مرنے والے اور اللہ کی راہ میں لڑتے ہوئے شہید ہونے والے۔‘‘ اس کے بعد آپ نے فرمایا: ’’اگر لوگوں کو معلوم ہو جائے کہ اذان اور صف اول میں کیا ثواب ہے تو پھر اپنے لیے قرعہ ڈالنے کے سوا کوئی چارہ نہ پائیں تو ضرور قرعہ اندازی کریں۔‘‘
Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Shuhada panch qisam ke hain: Taoon mein marne wale, pait ke aarizay se marne wale, doob kar marne wale, dab kar marne wale aur Allah ki rah mein larte hue shaheed hone wale.'' Is ke baad aap ne farmaya: ''Agar logon ko maloom ho jaye ke azan aur saff-e-awwal mein kya sawab hai to phir apne liye qura daalne ke siwa koi chara na payain to zaroor qura-andazi karain.''
ثُمَّ قَالَ : الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسَةٌ الْمَطْعُونُ وَالْمَبْطُونُ وَالْغَرِيقُ وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، وَقَالَ : لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا لَاسْتَهَمُوا عَلَيْهِ .
