Chapter: The superiority of offering the Zuhr prayer early

باب فَضْلِ التَّهْجِيرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 654
and if they knew the reward of offering the Zuhr prayer early (in its stated time), they would race for it and if they knew the reward for `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation, they would attend them even if they were to crawl.
(آپ نے فرمایا:) ’’اگر لوگوں کو علم ہو کہ (نماز ظہر کے لیے) جلدی آنے میں کتنا ثواب ہے تو ضرور ایک دوسرے سے آگے بڑھیں۔ اور اگر جان لیں کہ عشاء اور فجر کی نماز (باجماعت) ادا کرنے میں کیا ثواب ہے تو ان دونوں کی جماعت میں ضرور آئیں اگرچہ انہیں سرینوں کے بل چل کر آنا پڑے۔‘‘
(Aap ne farmaya:) ''Agar logon ko ilm ho ke (namaz-e-zohar ke liye) jaldi aane mein kitna sawab hai to zaroor ek doosre se aage barhain. Aur agar jaan lain ke isha aur fajr ki namaz (ba-jama'at) ada karne mein kya sawab hai to un dono ki jama'at mein zaroor ayain khwah unhein sureenon ke bal chal kar aana pare.''
وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لَاسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا .
