Sahih al-Bukhari 67
Narrated Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra's father, once the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) was riding his camel and a man was holding its rein. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked, "What is the day today?" We kept quiet, thinking that he might give that day another name. He said, "Isn't it the day of Nahr (slaughtering of the animals of sacrifice)" We replied, "Yes." He further asked, "Which month is this?" We again kept quiet, thinking that he might give it another name. Then he said, "Isn't it the month of Dhul-Hijja?" We replied, "Yes." He said, "Verily! Your blood, property and honor are sacred to one another (i.e. Muslims) like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours and in this city of yours. It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform those who are absent because those who are absent might comprehend (what I have said) better than the present audience."
حضرت ابوبکرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، ایک دفعہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے اونٹ پر بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور ایک شخص اس کی نکیل یا باگ تھامے ہوئے تھا، آپ نے فرمایا: ’’یہ کون سا دن ہے؟‘‘ ہم لوگ اس خیال سے خاموش رہے کہ شاید آپ اس کے اصل نام کے علاوہ کوئی اور نام بتائیں گے۔ آپ نے فرمایا:’’یہ قربانی کا دن نہیں؟‘‘ ہم نے عرض کیا: کیوں نہیں۔ پھر آپ نے فرمایا:’’یہ کون سا مہینہ ہے؟‘‘ ہم پھر اس خیال سے چپ رہے کہ شاید آپ اس کا کوئی اور نام رکھیں گے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’کیا یہ ماہ ذوالحجہ نہیں؟‘‘ ہم نے کہا: کیوں نہیں۔ تب آپ نے فرمایا: ’’تمہارے خون، تمہارے مال اور تمہاری آبروئیں ایک دوسرے پر اسی طرح حرام ہیں جیسا کہ تمہارے ہاں اس شہر اور اس مہینے میں اس دن کی حرمت ہے۔ چاہیے کہ جو یہاں حاضر ہے وہ غائب کو یہ خبر پہنچا دے، اس لیے کہ شاید حاضر ایسے شخص کو خبر کر دے جو اس بات کو اس سے زیادہ یاد رکھے۔‘‘
Hazrat Abubakra (Raziallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, ek dafa Nabi (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apne oont par baithe hue the aur ek shakhs uski nakail ya baag thame hue tha, aap ne farmaya: "Yeh kon sa din hai?" Hum log is khayal se khamosh rahe ke shayad aap uske asl naam ke ilawa koi aur naam batayenge. Aap ne farmaya: "Yeh qurbani ka din nahin?" Humne arz kiya: Kyun nahin. Phir aap ne farmaya: "Yeh kon sa mahina hai?" Hum phir is khayal se chup rahe ke shayad aap uska koi aur naam rakhenge. Aap ne farmaya: "Kya yeh mah-e-Zulhijjah nahin?" Humne kaha: Kyun nahin. Tab aap ne farmaya: "Tumhare khoon, tumhare mal aur tumhari abrooen ek doosre par isi tarah haram hain jaisa ke tumhare haan is shahar aur is mahine mein is din ki hurmat hai. Chahiye ke jo yahan hazir hai woh ghaib ko yeh khabar pahuncha de, isliye ke shayad hazir aise shakhs ko khabar kar de jo is baat ko usse ziyada yaad rakhe."
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَعَدَ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ وَأَمْسَكَ إِنْسَانٌ بِخِطَامِهِ أَوْ بِزِمَامِهِ ، قَالَ : أَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا ؟ فَسَكَتْنَا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُسَمِّيهِ سِوَى اسْمِهِ ، قَالَ : أَلَيْسَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ؟ قُلْنَا : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَأَيُّ شَهْرٍ هَذَا ؟ فَسَكَتْنَا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُسَمِّيهِ بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهِ ، فَقَالَ : أَلَيْسَ بِذِي الْحِجَّةِ ؟ قُلْنَا : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ حَرَامٌ ، كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا ، لِيُبَلِّغ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ ، فَإِنَّ الشَّاهِدَ عَسَى أَنْ يُبَلِّغَ مَنْ هُوَ أَوْعَى لَهُ مِنْهُ .
