Sahih al-Bukhari 6852
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that those people who used to buy foodstuff at random (without weighing or measuring it) were beaten in the lifetime of Allah's Apostle ( صلى ہللاعليه و آله وسلم) if they sold it at the very place where they had bought it, till they carried it to their dwelling places.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے عہد مبارک میں ان لوگوں کو پیٹا جاتا تھا جو غلہ اندازے سے خریدتے اور دوسری جگہ منتقل کیے بغیر وہیں فروخت کر دیتے تھے۔ ہاں، اگر وہ غلہ اٹھا کر اپنے ٹھکانے پر لے جاتے، پھر فروخت کرتے تو کچھ سزا نہ ہوتی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke ahd-e-mubarak mein in logon ko peeta jata tha jo ghalla andaze se kharidte aur doosri jagah muntaqil kiye baghair wahin farokht kar dete thay. Haan, agar wo ghalla utha kar apne thikane par le jate, phir farokht karte to kuch saza na hoti.
حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُضْرَبُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِذَا اشْتَرَوْا طَعَامًا جِزَافًا ، أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَكَانِهِمْ ، حَتَّى يُؤْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ .
