Sahih al-Bukhari 6924
Narrated Abu Huraira: When the Prophet died and Abu Bakr became his successor and some of the Arabs reverted to disbelief, `Umar said, O Abu Bakr! How can you fight these people although Allah's Apostle said, 'I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, 'and whoever said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', Allah will save his property and his life from me, unless (he does something for which he receives legal punishment) justly, and his account will be with Allah?'
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: جب نبی ﷺ نے وفات پائی اورحضرت ابوبکر صدیق ؓ خلیفہ مقرر ہوئے تو عرب کے کچھ قبائل کفر کی راہ پر چل پڑے۔ حضرت عمر بن خطاب ؓ نے کہا: اے ابو بکر! آپ ان لوگوں سے کیسے جنگ کریں گے جبکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے: ”مجھے لوگوں سے لڑنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے یہاں تک وہ لا إله إلا اللہ کہہ دیں، پھر جس نے لا إله إلا اللہ کہہ دیا اس نے مجھ سے اپنا مال اور اپنی جان کو بچا لیا۔ ہاں، اسلام کا حق وصول کرنے کے لیے اس کی جان یامال کو نقصان پہنچایا جا سکتا ہے اور اس کا حساب لینے والا اللہ تعالٰی ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone kaha: Jab Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne wafat payi aur Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (Radi Allahu Anhu) khalifa muqarrar hue to Arab ke kuch qabail kufr ki raah par chal pade. Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: Aye Abu Bakr! Aap in logon se kaise jang karein ge jabke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya hai: "Mujhe logon se ladne ka hukm diya gaya hai yahan tak wo La ilaha illAllah keh dein, phir jis ne La ilaha illAllah keh diya us ne mujh se apna maal aur apni jaan ko bacha liya. Haan, Islam ka haqq wasool karne ke liye is ki jaan ya maal ko nuqsan pahunchaya ja sakta hai aur is ka hisab lene wala Allah Ta'ala hai."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاسْتُخْلِفَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَكَفَرَ مَنْ كَفَرَ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ ، قَالَ عُمَرُ : يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ كَيْفَ تُقَاتِلُ النَّاسَ ، وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، فَمَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَدْ عَصَمَ مِنِّي مَالَهُ وَنَفْسَهُ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ .
