Sahih al-Bukhari 7025
Narrated Abu Huraira: We were sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, While I was sleeping, I saw myself in Paradise, and behold, a woman was performing ablution by the side of a palace. I asked, 'For whom is this palace?' They replied, 'For `Umar' Then I remembered the Ghira of `Umar and returned immediately. `Umar wept (on hearing that) and said, Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! How dare I think of my Ghira being offended by you.'
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: ہم ایک دفعہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اس دوران آپ نے فرمایا: ”ایک وقت میں سو رہا تھا کہ میں نے خود کو جنت میں دیکھا، وہاں ایک عورت محل کے کونے میں وضو کر رہی تھی، میں نے کہا: یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: یہ محل عمر کا ہے۔ مجھےاس کی غیرت یاد آگئی تو وہاں سے واپس چلا آیا۔“ حضرت عمر ؓ یہ سن کر رو پڑے اور کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میرے ماں باپ پر قربان، میں نے آپ پر غیرت کرنی تھی؟
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Hum aik dafa Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein baithe huye thay is douran aap ne farmaya: "Aik waqt mein so raha tha ke main ne khud ko jannat mein dekha, wahan aik aurat mahal ke kone mein wazu kar rahi thi, main ne kaha: Yeh mahal kis ka hai? Unhon ne kaha: Yeh mahal Umar ka hai. Mujhe is ki ghairat yaad aa gayi to wahan se wapas chala aaya." Hazrat Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) yeh sun kar ro paray aur kaha: Allah ke Rasul! Mere maan baap par qurban, main ne aap par ghairat karni thi?
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ رَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ تَتَوَضَّأُ إِلَى جَانِبِ قَصْرٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ ؟ ، فَقَالُوا :لِعُمَرَ ، فَذَكَرْتُ غَيْرَتَهُ فَوَلَّيْتُ مُدْبِرًا ، فَبَكَى عُمَرُ ، وَقَالَ : عَلَيْكَ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغَارُ .
