Sahih al-Bukhari 7111
Nafi narrated that when the people of Medina dethroned Yazid bin Muawiya, Ibn Umar ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) gathered his special friends and children and said, ‘I heard the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saying, 'a flag will be fixed for every betrayer on the Day of Resurrection,' and we have given the oath of allegiance to this person (Yazid) in accordance with the conditions enjoined by Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and I do not know of anything more faithless than fighting a person who has been given the oath of allegiance in accordance with the conditions enjoined by Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and if ever I learn that any person among you has agreed to dethrone Yazid, by giving the oath of allegiance (to somebody else) then there will be separation between him and me.’
سیدنا نافع سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: جب اہل مدینہ نے یزید بن معاویہ کی بیعت توڑ دی تو سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ نے اپنے خادموں اور بیٹوں کو جمع کیا اور کہا: بے شک میں نے نبی ﷺ سے سنا ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”قیامت کے دن ہر غدار کے لیے ایک جھنڈا نصب کیا جائےگا۔“ ہم نے اس شخص کی بیعت اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے نام پر کی ہے۔ میرے نزدیک اس سے بڑھ کر کوئی غداری نہیں کہ ایک شخص سے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے نام پر بیعت کی جائے، پھر اس کے خلاف لڑائی کھڑی کر دی جائے۔ دیکھو! تم میں سے جو کوئی اس کی بیعت توڑے گا اور کسی دوسرے کی بیعت کرے گا تو میرا اس سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہوگا۔
Sayyiduna Nafi se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Jab ahl-e-Madinah ne Yazeed bin Muawiyah ki bai tor di to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne apne khadimon aur beton ko jama kiya aur kaha: Beshak main ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suna hai, aap ne farmaya: "Qiyamat ke den har ghaddar ke liye aik jhanda nasab kiya jaye ga." Hum ne is shakhs ki bai Allah aur is ke Rasul ke naam par ki hai. Mere nazdeek is se barh kar koi ghaddari nahin ke aik shakhs se Allah aur is ke Rasul ke naam par bai ki jaye, phir is ke khilaf larayi khari kar di jaye. Dekho! Tum mein se jo koi is ki bai tore ga aur kisi doosre ki bai kare ga to mera is se koi talluq nahin hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا خَلَعَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَزِيدَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ جَمَعَ ابْنُ عُمَر حَشَمَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : يُنْصَبُ لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَإِنَّا قَدْ بَايَعْنَا هَذَا الرَّجُلَ عَلَى بَيْعِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ، وَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ غَدْرًا أَعْظَمَ مِنْ أَنْ يُبَايَعَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى بَيْعِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ الْقِتَالُ ، وَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ خَلَعَهُ ، وَلَا بَايَعَ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ إِلَّا كَانَتِ الْفَيْصَلَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ .
