Sahih al-Bukhari 7196
Abdullah bin Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Abu Sufyan bin Harb told him that Heraclius had called him along with the members of a Quraish caravan and then said to his interpreter, ‘tell them that I want to ask this (Abu Sufyan) a question, and if he tries to tell me a lie, they should contradict him.’ Then Abu Sufyan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) mentioned the whole narration and said that Heraclius said to the interpreter, ‘say to him (Abu Sufyan), 'if what you say is true, then he (the Prophet ﷺ) will take over the place underneath my two feet.’
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہیں ابو سفیان ؓ نے بتایا کہ ہرقل نے انہیں قریش کی جماعت کے ہمراہ اپنے ہاں بلا بھیجا۔ پھر اس نے اپنے ترجمان سے کہا: ان سے کہو: میں اس شخص (نبی ﷺ) کے متعلق پوچھنے والا ہوں، اگر یہ مجھ سے جھوٹ کہے تو آپ اسے جھٹلا دیں۔ پھر انہوں نے پوری حدیث بیان کی۔ آخر میں اس نے ترجمان سے کہا: اس سے کہو؛ اگر تمہاری باتیں مبنی بر حقیقت ہیں تو وہ شخص اس ملک کا سربراہ ہوگا جو اس وقت میرے قدموں کے نیچے ہے۔
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhein Abu Sufyan (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne bataya ke Herqal ne unhein Quraish ki jamaat ke humrah apne haan bula bheja. Phir is ne apne mutarjim se kaha: in se kaho: main is shakhs (Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)) ke mutaliq poochne wala hoon, agar yeh mujh se jhoot kahe to aap usay jhutla dein. Phir unhon ne poori hadith bayan ki. Aakhir mein is ne mutarjim se kaha: is se kaho; agar tumhari baatein mabni bar haqqiqat hain to woh shakhs is mulk ka sar-barah hoga jo is waqt mere qadmon ke neeche hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ بْنَ حَرْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ هِرَقْلَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فِي رَكْبٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، ثُمّ قَالَ لِتَرْجُمَانِهِ : قُلْ لَهُمْ إِنِّي سَائِلٌ هَذَا فَإِنْ كَذَبَنِي فَكَذِّبُوهُ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، فَقَالَ لِلتُّرْجُمَانِ : قُلْ لَهُ : إِنْ كَانَ مَا تَقُولُ حَقًّا فَسَيَمْلِكُ مَوْضِعَ قَدَمَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ .
