Sahih al-Bukhari 7276
Hudhaifa (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to us, ‘honesty descended from the heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of believers, and then the Quran was revealed and the people read the Quran, and learnt from it and also learnt from the Sunna.’ Both Quran and Sunna strengthened their honesty.
سیدنا حذیفہ ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہم سے فرمایا: ”آسمان سے امانت لوگوں کے دلوں کی گہرائی میں اتری اور قرآن مجید بھی نازل ہوا، پھر لوگوں کے قرآن مجید پڑھا اور سنت کا علم حاصل کیا۔“
Sayyiduna Huzaifah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne hum se farmaya: ''Aasman se amanat logon ke dilon ki gehrai mein utri aur Quran Majeed bhi nazil hua, phir logon ne Quran Majeed parha aur sunnat ka ilm hasil kiya.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ ، فَقَالَ : عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، سَمِعْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ الْأَمَانَةَ نَزَلَتْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فِي جَذْرِ قُلُوبِ الرِّجَالِ وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ ، فَقَرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ ، وَعَلِمُوا مِنَ السُّنَّةِ .
