Muqeera bin Shuba (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, and Muqeera (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. They saw that the people had already started the Fajr prayer and had appointed Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) as the Imam. He had already prayed one Rak'ah. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, he joined the row behind Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) for the second Rak'ah. When Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) finished the prayer with Salam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and completed the prayer. The people were amazed and began to say Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished his prayer, he said to the people, “You did well, you did well.”

سیدنا مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ خبر دیتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے اور سیدنا مغیرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بھی ان کے ہمراہ تھے، دیکھا کہ لوگ فجر کی نماز کھڑی کر چکے ہیں، اور امامت کے لئے سیدنا عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کو آگے کر دیا ہے، وہ ایک رکعت نماز پڑھا چکے تھے، پھر جب رسول اللہ ﷺ پہنچ گئے تو آپ بھی سیدنا عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کے پیچھے دوسری رکعت کے لئے صف میں کھڑے ہو گئے، جب سیدنا عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ عنہ نے سلام پھیرا رسول اللہ ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور نماز مکمل کی تو لوگ گھبرا گئے، سبحان اللہ سبحان اللہ کرنے لگے، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنی نماز پوری کر لی تو لوگوں سے فرمایا: ”تم نے صحیح کیا تم نے اچھا کیا۔“
Sayyidina Mughirah bin Shaaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) khabar dete hain ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye aur Sayyidina Mughirah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bhi un ke hamrah the, dekha ki log Fajr ki namaz khadi kar chuke hain, aur imamat ke liye Sayyidina Abdur Rahman bin Auf (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko aage kar diya hai, woh ek rakat namaz parha chuke the, phir jab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pahunche to aap bhi Sayyidina Abdur Rahman bin Auf (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke peechhe dusri rakat ke liye saf mein khade ho gaye, jab Sayyidina Abdur Rahman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne salaam pheira Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khade huye aur namaz mukammal ki to log ghabra gaye, Subhan Allah Subhan Allah karne lage, jab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apni namaz puri kar li to logon se farmaya: "Tum ne sahi kiya tum ne achcha kiya.".
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، وَحَمْزَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ يُخْبِرُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ وَأَقْبَلَ مَعَهُ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ، حَتَّى وَجَدُوا النَّاسَ قَدْ أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ وَقَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَصَفَّ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَرَاءَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى، فَفَزِعَ النَّاسُ لِذَلِكَ، وَأَكْثَرُوا التَّسْبِيحَ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاتَهُ، قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ:"قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ أَوْ قَدْ أَحْسَنْتُمْ".
