Sunan al-Darimi 1148
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When a man has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, if the blood is fresh, he should give a dinar in charity (as expiation), and if the blood is yellowish, he should give half a dinar in charity.” Imam Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: And he should seek forgiveness.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب آدمی اپنی بیوی سے بحالت حیض جماع کرے تو اگر خون نیا تازہ ہو تو ایک دینار کا صدقہ (بطور کفارہ) کرے، اور زردی مائل خوں ہو تو آدھا دینار صدقہ کرے۔“ امام ابراہیم رحمہ اللہ نے کہا: اور استغفار کرے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jab aadmi apni biwi se be halat e haiz jima kare to agar khoon naya taaza ho to ek dinar ka sadqa (ba tor e kaffara) kare, aur zurdi mayel khoon ho to aadha dinar sadqa kare." Imam Ibrahim Rehmatullah Alaih ne kaha: Aur istighfar kare.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ الَّذِي يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، قَالَ: "يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ، أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ"، وقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ:"يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ".
