Sunan al-Darimi 1617
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Talha bin Ubaidullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a villager with dishevelled hair came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked: “O Messenger of Allah! How many prayers has Allah Almighty made obligatory on me?” He replied, “Five prayers, and fasting (as well)." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told him the injunctions of Islam. Then he said: "By the Being Who has honored you, I will neither decrease nor increase these obligations." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By the oath of his father, if he said this truthfully, he has succeeded" ... or he said: "By the oath of his father, if he spoke the truth, he has entered Paradise."

سیدنا طلحہ بن عبیداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دیہاتی رسول الله ﷺ کے پاس آیا جس کے بال بکھرے ہوئے تھے، اس نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے اوپر کتنی نمازیں فرض کی ہیں؟ فرمایا: ”پانچ نمازیں اور روزه (بھی) فرض کیا ہے“، اس کے بعد رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسے دین کے احکام بتلائے، پس اس نے کہا: قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس نے آپ کو عزت بخشی میں ان فرائض میں کوئی کمی و بیشی نہیں کروں گا، رسول الله ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس کے باپ کی قسم اگر اس نے سچے دل سے یہ کہا ہے تو کامیاب ہو گیا۔“ ... یا یہ فرمایا: ”قسم اس کے باپ کی اگر سچ کہا ہے تو جنت میں داخل ہو گیا۔“
Sayyidina Talha bin Ubaidullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek dehati Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaya jis ke baal bikhre hue the, usne arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Allah Ta'ala ne mere upar kitni namazen farz ki hain? Farmaya: ”Panch namazen aur roza (bhi) farz kiya hai“, iske baad Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use deen ke ahkam batlaye, pas usne kaha: Kasam hai is zaat ki jisne aap ko izzat bakhshi mein in faraiz mein koi kami beshi nahin karunga, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Iske baap ki kasam agar isne sache dil se ye kaha hai to kamyab ho gaya.“ ... Ya ye farmaya: ”Kasam iske baap ki agar sach kaha hai to jannat mein dakhil ho gaya.“.
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلٍ نَافِعِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَاذَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ: "الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ، وَالصِّيَامَ"، فَأَخْبَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَرَائِعِ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي أَكْرَمَكَ لَا أَتَطَوَّعُ شَيْئًا، وَلَا أَنْقُصُ مِمَّا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"أَفْلَحَ وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ، أَوْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ".
