Sunan al-Darimi 1838
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the clothing of the Muhrim (pilgrim in the state of Ihram). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'He should not wear a shirt, turban, lower garment, cap, or socks. However, if he does not have shoes, then he may wear socks, but he should cut them below the ankles.'"

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ سے محرم کے لباس کے بارے میں دریافت کیا گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”قمیص، عمامہ، پائجامے، ٹوپی اور موزے نہ پہنے، ہاں اگر جوتے نہ ہوں تو موزے پہن لے اور انہیں ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے کاٹ دے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se muharram ke libas ke bare mein darjaat kiya gaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "qamis, amama, pajamay, topi aur mozay na pehne, haan agar joote na hon to mozay pehan le aur inhen takhnon ke neeche se kaat de."
أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمَّا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ، قَالَ: "لَا يَلْبَسُ الْقُمُصَ، وَلَا الْعَمَائِمَ، وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ، وَلَا الْبَرَانِسَ، وَلَا الْخِفَافَ، إِلَّا أَنْ لَا يَجِدَ نَعْلَيْنِ، فَلْيَلْبَسَ خُفَّيْنِ وَيَقْطَعَهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ".
