Sunan al-Darimi 1991
Our master, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to thoroughly inspect the ears and eyes of sacrificial animals (meaning, ensuring they are free from defects) and not to sacrifice animals with the following defects: 'Muqabalah,' 'Mudabbarah,' 'Kharaqaa' and 'Sharqaa'. 'Muqabalah' is an animal whose ear has been cut off. 'Mudabbarah' is one whose ear has been partially cut from the side. 'Kharaqaa' is one whose ear is split, and 'Sharqaa' is one whose ear is torn. (These are all defects of the ear, and sacrifice is not valid in their presence).
سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: ہم کو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حکم دیا کہ ہم (قربانی) کے کان اور آنکھ کو خوب دیکھ لیں (یعنی ان میں کوئی نقص نہ ہو) اور مقابلہ، مدابرة، خرقاء اور شرقاء کی قربانی نہ کریں۔ مقابلہ وہ جانور جس کا کان کاٹ دیا گیا ہو، مدابرہ وہ ہے کہ کان کی جانب سے کچھ کٹا ہوا ہو، اور خرقاء وہ ہے جس کا کان چھدا ہوا ہو، اور شرقاء جس کا کان چرا ہوا ہو۔ (یہ سب کان کے نقص ہیں، ان کے ہوتے ہوئے قربانی درست نہیں)۔
Sayyidina Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya: Hum ko Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hukm diya ke hum (qurbani) ke kaan aur aankh ko khoob dekh len (yani in mein koi nuqs na ho) aur muqabala, mudabbarah, kharqa aur sharqa ki qurbani na karen. Muqabala woh janwar jis ka kaan kaat diya gaya ho, mudabbarah woh hai ke kaan ki jaanib se kuch kata hua ho, aur kharqa woh hai jis ka kaan chhida hua ho, aur sharqa jis ka kaan chura hua ho. (ye sab kaan ke nuqs hain, in ke hote hue qurbani durust nahin).
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ الصَّائِدِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:"أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَشْرِفَ الْعَيْنَ وَالْأُذُنَ، وَأَنْ لَا نُضَحِّيَ بِمُقَابَلَةٍ وَلَا مُدَابَرَةٍ وَلَا خَرْقَاءَ، وَلَا شَرْقَاءَ، فَالْمُقَابَلَةُ: مَا قُطِعَ طَرَفُ أُذُنِهَا، وَالْمُدَابَرَةُ: مَا قُطِعَ مِنْ جَانِبِ الْأُذُنِ، وَالْخَرْقَاءُ: الْمَثْقُوبَةُ، وَالشَّرْقَاءُ: الْمَشْقُوقَةُ".
