Sunan al-Darimi 203
It is narrated on the authority of Mujahid that Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Beware! Avoid philosophical reasoning and speculation in matters of religious belief and action."
Grade: Da'if
مجاہد سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: خبردار! قول و فعل میں قیاس و کلام (فلسفے) سے بچو۔
Mujaahid se marvi hai ki Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya: Khabrdar! Qawl o fal mein qiyaas o kalaam (falsafe) se bacho.
(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: "إِيَّاكَ وَالْمُكَايَلَةَ"، يَعْنِي: فِي الْكَلَامِ.
