Sunan al-Darimi 2200
Umm al-Mu'minin, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "There was a woman in Medina whose husband was a merchant and used to travel. Whenever her husband would go on a journey, she would see a dream, and it rarely happened that he would go on a journey and she would not be pregnant. The woman would come to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and say: 'My husband has left for trade while I am pregnant. I have seen a dream, like one who sees a dream, that a pillar of my house has broken and I have given birth to a child.' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would interpret it, saying: 'It is good. Your husband will return to you safely, Allah willing, and you will give birth to a righteous child.' She saw this dream several times, and each time she would come to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would give her the same interpretation. And (by the command of Allah) her husband would return and she would give birth to a boy. One day, the woman came as she used to come to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was not present, and she had seen the same dream. I said to her: 'O handmaid of Allah! What did you want to ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?' She said: 'I used to see a dream and come and ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for its interpretation. You say good, and it would happen just as you interpret it.' I said: 'Then tell me your dream too.' She said: 'I will tell it only when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) comes, just as I used to tell him before.' Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: 'I did not leave her until she was ready to tell her dream (and told me her dream). I said: 'If your dream is true, then your husband will die and you will give birth to a wicked and sinful child.' The woman sat down crying and said: 'Why did I tell you my dream?!' At that moment, while she was crying, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and said: 'O Aisha! What happened to this woman, why is she crying?' I told him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the whole story and also the interpretation I had given. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Listen, O Aisha! When you interpret the dream of a Muslim, give a good interpretation because the dream comes true according to the interpretation of the interpreter.' Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: 'By Allah, her husband died and I think she gave birth to a wicked and sinful child."

ام المومنین زوجہ النبی ﷺ سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: مدینے کی ایک عورت تھی جس کا شوہر تاجر تھا اور سفر پر آیا جایا کرتا تھا، اور جب بھی اس کا شوہر سفر پر جاتا وہ خواب دیکھتی اور بہت کم ایسا ہوتا کہ وہ سفر پر جائے اور اس کی بیوی حاملہ نہ ہو، وہ عورت رسول اکرم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوتی اور عرض کرتی: میرا شوہر تجارت کے لئے نکلا ہے اس حال میں کہ میں حاملہ ہوں اور میں نے خواب دیکھنے والے کی طرح خواب دیکھا ہے کہ میرے گھر کا ایک ستون ٹوٹ گیا اور میں نے کانا بچہ جنا ہے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس کی تعبیر بتائی کہ ”بہت اچھا ہے، تمہارا شوہر ان شاء الله صحیح سالم تمہارے پاس لوٹ آئے گا اور تم ایسے بچے کو جنم دو گی جو بہت نیک ہو گا۔“ اس نے کئی بار یہ خواب دیکھا، ہر بار رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوتی اور آپ ﷺ اس کو یہی تعبیر بتاتے اور (اللہ کے حکم سے) اس کا شوہر واپس آتا اور وہ لڑکا جنتی، ایک دن وہ عورت اسی طرح حاضر ہوئی جیسے پہلے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آیا کرتی تھی، اس وقت رسول الله ﷺ موجود نہ تھے اور اس نے ویسا ہی خواب دیکھا تھا، میں نے اس سے کہا: اے اللہ کی بندی! رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کیا پوچھنا چاہتی ہو؟ کہا: میں خواب دیکھتی تھی اور آ کر رسول اللہ ﷺ سے اس کی تعبیر پوچھتی تھی۔ آپ فرماتے خیر ہے اور جیسی آپ تعبیر بتاتے ویسا ہی ہوتا، میں نے کہا: تو وہ خواب مجھے بھی سناؤ، اس نے کہا: جب رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لے آئیں گے تب ہی سناؤں گی جس طرح پہلے عرض کرتی تھی، سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: میں نے اس کا پیچھا نہیں چھوڑا یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنا خواب بتانے پر آمادہ ہو گئی (اور مجھے اپنا خواب بتا دیا) میں نے کہا: اگر تمہارا خواب سچا ہے تو تمہارا شوہر مر جائے گا اور فاسق و فاجر بچے کو تم جنم دو گی، وہ عورت بیٹھ کر رونے اور کہنے لگی: میں نے تم کو کیوں اپنا خواب بتا دیا؟ اسی اثنا میں جب وہ رو رہی تھی، رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لے آئے اور فرمایا: ”اے عائشہ! اس عورت کو کیا ہوا، کیوں روتی ہے؟“ میں نے آپ ﷺ کو سارا ماجرا کہہ سنایا اور جو تعبیر بتائی وہ بھی بتا دی، اس پر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”سنو اے عائشہ! جب تم کسی مسلمان کے خواب کی تعبیر بیان کرو تو اچھی بات بتاؤ کیونکہ معبر خواب کی جس طرح تعبیر بتاتا ہے وہ ویسے ہی واقع ہو جاتا ہے“، سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: قسم اللہ کی اس کا شوہر مر گیا اور میں سمجھتی ہوں اس نے فاسق و فاجر کو جنم دیا ہو گا۔
Umm ul Momineen Zawja un Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne kaha: Madine ki aik aurat thi jis ka shohar tajir tha aur safar per aaya jaya karta tha, aur jab bhi is ka shohar safar per jata woh khwab dekhti aur bahut kam aisa hota ke woh safar per jaye aur is ki biwi hamil na ho, woh aurat Rasul Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hoti aur arz karti: mera shohar tijarat ke liye nikla hai is hal mein ke main hamil hun aur maine khwab dekhne wale ki tarah khwab dekha hai ke mere ghar ka aik satoon toot gaya aur maine kana bachcha jana hai, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is ki tabeer batai ke ”bahut achcha hai, tumhara shohar Insha Allah sahih salam tumhare pass laut aayega aur tum aise bachche ko janam do gi jo bahut nek ho ga. Is ne kai bar ye khwab dekha, har bar Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hoti aur aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is ko yehi tabeer batate aur (Allah ke hukm se) is ka shohar wapas aata aur woh ladka jannati, aik din woh aurat isi tarah hazir hui jaise pehle Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aaya karti thi, is waqt Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) maujood na the aur is ne waisa hi khwab dekha tha, maine is se kaha: aye Allah ki bandi! Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kya puchna chahti ho? Kaha: main khwab dekhti thi aur aa kar Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ki tabeer puchhti thi. Aap farmate khair hai aur jaisi aap tabeer batate waisa hi hota, maine kaha: to woh khwab mujhe bhi sunao, is ne kaha: jab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashrif le aayenge tab hi sunaun gi jis tarah pehle arz karti thi, Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne kaha: maine is ka picha nahi chhoda yahan tak ke woh apna khwab batane per aamada ho gai (aur mujhe apna khwab bata diya) maine kaha: agar tumhara khwab sachcha hai to tumhara shohar mar jayega aur fasiq o fajir bachche ko tum janam do gi, woh aurat baith kar rone aur kehne lagi: maine tum ko kyun apna khwab bata diya? Isi asna mein jab woh ro rahi thi, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashrif le aaye aur farmaya: ”aye Ayesha! is aurat ko kya hua, kyun roti hai? Maine aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko sara majra keh sunaya aur jo tabeer batai woh bhi bata di, is per Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”suno aye Ayesha! Jab tum kisi musalman ke khwab ki tabeer bayan karo to achchi baat batao kyunke muabbir khwab ki jis tarah tabeer batata hai woh waise hi waqe ho jata hai, Sayyida Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne kaha: qasam Allah ki is ka shohar mar gaya aur main samjhti hun is ne fasiq o fajir ko janam diya ho ga.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ يَعِيشَ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ هُوَ ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَهَا زَوْجٌ تَاجِرٌ يَخْتَلِفُ، فَكَانَتْ تَرَى رُؤْيَا كُلَّمَا غَابَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا، وَقَلَّمَا يَغِيبُ إِلَّا تَرَكَهَا حَامِلًا، فَتَأْتِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَتَقُولُ: إِنَّ زَوْجِي خَرَجَ تَاجِرًا فَتَرَكَنِي حَامِلًا، فَرَأَيْتُ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ: أَنَّ سَارِيَةَ بَيْتِي انْكَسَرَتْ، وَأَنِّي وَلَدْتُ غُلَامًا أَعْوَرَ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"خَيْرٌ، يَرْجِعُ زَوْجُكِ عَلَيْكِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى صَالِحًا، وَتَلِدِينَ غُلَامًا بَرًّا". فَكَانَتْ تَرَاهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ تَأْتِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَيَقُولُ ذَلِكَ لَهَا فَيَرْجِعُ زَوْجُهَا، وَتَلِدُ غُلَامًا، فَجَاءَتْ يَوْمًا كَمَا كَانَتْ تَأْتِيهِ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَائِبٌ، وَقَدْ رَأَتْ تِلْكَ الرُّؤْيَا، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: عَمَّ تَسْأَلِينَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَمَةَ اللَّهِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: رُؤْيَا كُنْتُ أُرَاهَا، فَآتِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَسْأَلُهُ عَنْهَا فَيَقُولُ خَيْرًا، فَيَكُونُ كَمَا قَالَ. فَقُلْتُ: فَأَخْبِرِينِي مَا هِيَ. قَالَتْ: حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَعْرِضَهَا عَلَيْهِ كَمَا كُنْتُ أَعْرِضُ. فَوَاللَّهِ مَا تَرَكْتُهَا حَتَّى أَخْبَرَتْنِي، فَقُلْتُ: وَاللَّهِ لَئِنْ صَدَقَتْ رُؤْيَاكِ، لَيَمُوتَنَّ زَوْجُكِ وَتَلِدِينَ غُلَامًا فَاجِرًا، فَقَعَدَتْ تَبْكِي، وَقَالَتْ مَا لِي حِينَ عَرَضْتُ عَلَيْكِ رُؤْيَايَ؟ فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ تَبْكِي، فَقَالَ لَهَا: مَا لَهَا يَا عَائِشَةُ؟ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ الْخَبَرَ وَمَا تَأَوَّلْتُ لَهَا. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"مَهْ يَا عَائِشَةُ، إِذَا عَبَرْتُمْ لِلْمُسْلِمِ الرُّؤْيَا، فَاعْبُرُوهَا عَلَى الْخَيْرِ، فَإِنَّ الرُّؤْيَا تَكُونُ عَلَى مَا يَعْبُرُهَا صَاحِبُهَا". فَمَاتَ وَاللَّهِ زَوْجُهَا، وَلَا أُرَاهَا إِلَّا وَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا فَاجِرًا.
