Sunan al-Darimi 290
Saleh Al-Dhaan said: "I never heard Jabir bin Zaid saying: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,' while he considered it a grave matter and avoided it, lest falsehood be attributed to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."

صالح الدھان نے کہا کہ میں نے جابر بن زید کو کبھی یہ کہتے نہیں سنا: «قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم» اور وہ اس کو بہت عظیم سمجھتے ہوئے اور اس سے بچتے ہوئے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی طرف جھوٹ نہ منسوب ہو جائے۔
Salih al-Dhan ne kaha ki maine Jabir bin Zaid ko kabhi ye kehte nahin suna: «Qala Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)» aur wo isko bahut azeem samajhte huye aur isse bachate huye ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf jhoot na mansoob ho jaye.
(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْهَدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ الدَّهَّانُ، قَالَ: مَا سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ يَقُولُ قَطُّ:"قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِعْظَامًا وَاتِّقَاءً أَنْ يَكْذِبَ عَلَيْهِ".
