Chapter: Al-Wala' (loyalty and guardianship).
باب: الولاء
Sunan al-Darimi 3040
Muhammad bin Salem said: It is narrated from Shabi, may Allah have mercy on him: A person who freed his slave, then the one who freed (the owner/master) and the slave died, and the one who freed left behind his father and son, then the wealth will belong to the son.

محمد بن سالم نے کہا: شعبی رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے: ایسا شخص جس نے غلام آزاد کیا پھر آزاد کرنے والا (مالک و مولی) اور غلام فوت ہو گیا اور آزاد کرنے والا اپنا باپ اور بیٹا چھوڑ گیا تو مال بیٹے کا ہو گا۔
Muhammad bin Salem ne kaha: Shabi rehmatullah alaih se marvi hai: Aisa shakhs jis ne ghulam azad kiya phir azad karne wala (malik o moli) aur ghulam foot ho gaya aur azad karne wala apna baap aur beta chhor gaya to maal bete ka ho ga.
(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حدثنا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ فِي رَجُلٍ أَعْتَقَ مَمْلُوكًا، ثُمَّ مَاتَ الْمَوْلَى وَالْمَمْلُوكُ، وَتَرَكَ الْمُعْتِقُ أَبَاهُ وَابْنَهُ، قَالَا: "الْمَالُ لِلِابْنِ".
