Chapter: Al-Wala' (loyalty and guardianship).
باب: الولاء
Sunan al-Darimi 3043
Muqeera said: I asked Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) about a man who freed his slave, then both the slave and the one who freed him died, and the one who freed him left behind a father and his son. He said: This much is for the father, and what remains is for his son (due to being an 'asaba).

مغیرہ نے کہا: میں نے ابراہیم رحمہ اللہ سے پوچھا: ایک آدمی نے اپنے غلام کو آزاد کر دیا، پھر غلام اور آزاد کرنے والے فوت ہو گئے اور آزاد کرنے والے نے باپ اور اپنا بیٹا چھوڑا، تو انہوں نے کہا: باپ کے لئے اتنا ہے اور جو بچے وہ (عصبہ ہونے کے سبب) اس کے بیٹے کا ہے۔
Mughirah ne kaha: Maine Ibrahim rehmatullah alaih se poocha: Ek aadmi ne apne gulaam ko aazaad kar diya, phir gulaam aur aazaad karne wala foot ho gaye aur aazaad karne wale ne baap aur apna beta chhoda, to unhon ne kaha: Baap ke liye itna hai aur jo bache wo uske bete ka hai.
(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ"عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَعْتَقَ مَمْلُوكًا لَهُ، فَمَاتَ وَمَاتَ الْمَوْلَى، فَتَرَكَ الْمُعْتِقُ أَبَاهُ وَابْنَهُ، فَقَالَ لِأَبِيهِ: كَذَا، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِابْنِهِ".
