Sunan al-Darimi 572
Ikrimah (the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them) said: Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to tie me with chains to his leg and teach me the Quran and Sunnah.

عکرمہ (مولی سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما) نے کہا: سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما میرے پیر میں بیڑی لگا دیتے اور مجھے قرآن و سنت کی تعلیم دیتے تھے۔

(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِرِّيتِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ "يَضَعُ فِي رِجْلَيَّ الْكَبْلَ، وَيُعَلِّمُنِي الْقُرْآنَ وَالسُّنَنَ".
