Sunan al-Darimi 69
It is narrated on the authority of Imam Zuhri that Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A Jewish woman from Khaybar presented a roasted poisoned goat to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He took a piece of its foreleg and ate some of the meat. Some of his companions also ate with him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Stop (eating)." He called for the woman and asked her, "Did you put poison in this goat?" She said, "Yes. But who told you?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "This piece (of meat) in my hand told me." She said, "Yes, I put poison in it." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "What was your intention?" She replied, "I thought if you were a Prophet, the poison would not harm you; and if you were not a Prophet, we would get rid of you." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forgave her and did not punish her. However, some of the Prophet's companions who ate the meat, passed away. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued to suffer from the effects of that poison until his death. Abu Hind cupped him on his back with a cow's horn and a knife. (Abu Hind was a freed slave of Banu Bayadah, a clan of Ansar).

امام زہری رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا جابر بن عبدالله رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے تھے کہ خیبر کی ایک یہودی عورت نے بھنی ہوئی بکری زہر آلود کر کے نبی کریم ﷺ کو ہدیہ کی، آپ نے اس کا دستانہ لے کر کچھ گوشت تناول فرمایا اور آپ کے ساتھ چند صحابہ نے بھی کھایا، پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا: ”(بس) اپنے ہاتھ روک لو“، اور آپ نے اس عورت کو بلایا اور دریافت کیا: ”کیا تم نے اس بکری میں زہر ملایا تھا؟“ اس نے جواب دیا ہاں، لیکن آپ کو کس نے بتایا؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”مجھ سے خود اس دستانے (دست کا گوشت) نے کہا جو میرے ہاتھ میں ہے“، اس نے کہا: بیشک میں نے زہر ملایا، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”پھر تیرا ارادہ کیا تھا؟“، وہ بولی میں نے سوچا اگر آپ نبی ہیں تو زہر آپ کو نقصان نہ دے گا اور اگر نبی نہیں ہیں تو ہم کو آپ کی طرف سے راحت مل جائے گی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس کا قصور معاف فرما دیا اور اس کو کچھ سزا نہ دی اور رسول اللہ ﷺ کے اصحاب میں سے بعض وہ لوگ جنہوں نے وہ گوشت کھا لیا تھا، وفات پا گئے اور رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسی زہر کی وجہ سے اپنے پچھنے لگوائے۔ ابوہند نے گائے کی سینگ اور چھری سے پچھنے لگائے (ابوہند انصار کے ایک قبیلہ بنو بیاضہ کے آزاد کردہ غلام تھے)۔
Imam Zuhri rehmatullah alaih se marvi hai ki Sayyidna Jabir bin Abdullah razi Allah anhuma bayan karte the ki Khaibar ki ek Yahudi aurat ne bhuni hui bakri zahr aalud kar ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko hadiya ki, aap ne is ka dastana le kar kuchh gosht tanaavul farmaya aur aap ke sath chand Sahaba ne bhi khaya, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya: "(Bas) apne hath rok lo", aur aap ne is aurat ko bulaya aur daryaft kiya: "Kya tum ne is bakri mein zahr milaya tha?" Is ne jawab diya haan, lekin aap ko kis ne bataya? Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Mujh se khud is dastane (dast ka gosht) ne kaha jo mere hath mein hai", is ne kaha: Beshak maine zahr milaya, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Phir tera irada kya tha?", woh boli main ne socha agar aap Nabi hain to zahr aap ko nuqsan na dega aur agar Nabi nahin hain to hum ko aap ki taraf se rahat mil jayegi. Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is ka qusur maaf farma diya aur is ko kuchh saza na di aur Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ashaab mein se baaz woh log jinhon ne woh gosht kha liya tha, wafaat pa gaye aur Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne isi zahr ki wajah se apne peechne lagawaye. Abu Hind ne gaye ki sing aur chhuri se peechne lagawaye (Abu Hind Ansar ke ek qabila Banu Bayazah ke azad kardah ghulam the).
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: كَانَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً مِنْ أَهْلِ خَيْبَرَ سَمَّتْ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً، ثُمَّ أَهْدَتْهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا الذِّرَاعَ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، وَأَكَلَ الرَّهْطُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مَعَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ"، وَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْيَهُودِيَّةِ فَدَعَاهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا:"أَسَمَمْتِ هَذِهِ الشَّاةَ؟"، فَقَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، وَمَنْ أَخْبَرَكَ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"أَخْبَرَتْنِي هَذِهِ فِي يَدِيَ: لِلذِّرَاعِ"، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ:"فَمَاذَا أَرَدْتِ إِلَى ذَلِكَ؟"، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: إِنْ كَانَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيًّا، اسْتَرَحْنَا مِنْهُ،"فَعَفَا عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَمْ يُعَاقِبْهَا"، وَتُوُفِّيَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ الَّذِينَ أَكَلُوا مِنْ الشَّاةِ،"وَاحْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى كَاهِلِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الَّذِي أَكَلَ مِنْ الشَّاةِ"، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو هِنْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ، بِالْقَرْنِ وَالشَّفْرَةِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ بَنِي ثُمَامَةَ، وَهُمْ حَيٌّ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ.
