Sahih Ibn Hibban 2128
Malik bin Huwairith narrated that: We came to the Prophet (ﷺ) - I and my companion - and he said, "When you (two) offer prayer, then pronounce the Adhan and Iqamah, and the older of you should lead the prayer."
مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے میں اور میرا ساتھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب تم دونوں نماز پڑھو تو اذان اور اقامت کہو اور تم میں جو بڑا ہو وہ امامت کرے ۔
Malik bin Huwairith razi Allah anhu kehte hain ki hum Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir huwe main aur mera saathi Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya jab tum donon namaz parho to azaan aur iqamat kaho aur tum mein jo bada ho wo imamat kare
أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَّابُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْمُعَدِّلُ بِوَاسِطٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي فَقَالَ «إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمَا فَأَذِّنَا وَأَقِيمَا وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا»
