Sahih Ibn Hibban 2129
Malik bin Al-Huwayrith narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him and his companion, "When the prayer begins, then one of you should pronounce the Adhan and the other the Iqamah, and the older of you should lead the prayer."
مالک بن الحویرث رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے اور ان کے ساتھی سے فرمایا: ”جب نماز کا وقت ہو جائے تو تم میں سے ایک اذان کہے اور دوسرا اقامت کہے اور تم میں جو بڑا ہو وہ امامت کرے“۔
Malik bin al-Hawirath razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un se aur un ke sathi se farmaya: “Jab namaz ka waqt ho jaye to tum mein se ek azan kahe aur dusra iqamat kahe aur tum mein jo bada ho wo imamat kare”.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ وَلِصَاحِبٍ لَهُ «إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأَذِّنَا ثُمَّ أَقِيمَا ثُمَّ لِيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا»
