Sahih Ibn Hibban 2847
Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The sun eclipsed during the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) so he got up, terrified, then he said 'These signs that Allah sends are not due to the death of anyone or the life of anyone but Allah sends them to frighten His slaves, so if you see anything of that then rush to remembering Him and asking for His forgiveness.'"
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں سورج گرہن ہوا تو آپ گھبرا کر کھڑے ہوگئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'یہ نشانیاں جو اللہ بھیجتا ہے کسی کی موت یا زندگی کی وجہ سے نہیں ہیں بلکہ اللہ انہیں اپنے بندوں کو ڈرانے کے لیے بھیجتا ہے، لہذا اگر تم ان میں سے کچھ بھی دیکھو تو اللہ کو یاد کرنے اور اس سے معافی مانگنے کے لیے جلدی کرو۔'"
Hazrat Abu Musa Radi Allaho Anho Se Rivayat Hai Ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Farmaya: "Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ke Zamane Mein Suraj Girahan Hua To Aap Ghabra Kar Khary Ho Gaye, Phir Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Farmaya: 'Ye Nishaniyan Jo Allah Bhejta Hai Kisi Ki Maut Ya Zindagi Ki Wajah Se Nahi Hain Balke Allah Inhen Apne Bandon Ko Darane Ke Liye Bhejta Hai, Lihaza Agar Tum In Mein Se Kuchh Bhi Dekho To Allah Ko Yaad Karne Aur Iss Se Mafi Mangne Ke Liye Jaldi Karo.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ زَمَنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَامَ فَزِعًا ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْآيَاتُ الَّتِي يُرْسِلُ اللَّهُ لَا تَكُونُ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُرْسِلُهَا يُخَوِّفُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى ذِكْرِهِ وَاسْتِغْفَارِهِ»
