Sahih Ibn Hibban 2846
Aisha narrated that: The sun eclipsed at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up to pray and prolonged the standing greatly, then bowed and prolonged the bowing greatly, then he raised his head and prolonged the standing, but it was shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed and prolonged the bowing, but it was shorter than the first bowing, then he raised his head then went down for prostration, so he prostrated, then he stood up in the second rak'ah, and prolonged the standing but it was shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed, and prolonged the bowing but it was shorter than the first bowing, then he raised his head and prolonged the standing, but it was shorter than the first standing, then he bowed and prolonged the bowing, but it was shorter than the first bowing, then he raised his head then went down for prostration, so he prostrated, then he said, "O people! Verily the sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of the death of someone, nor because of his life. So when you see that, then pray and give charity, and say Takbir." (He said) "O Ummah of Muhammad! Is anyone more jealous than Allah that his slave commits adultery or his slave-girl commits adultery. O Ummah of Muhammad! If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں سورج گرہن ہوا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے اور قیام کو بہت لمبا کیا، پھر رکوع کیا اور رکوع کو بھی بہت لمبا کیا، پھر سر اٹھایا اور کھڑے ہوئے لیکن پہلے قیام سے کم، پھر رکوع کیا اور پہلے رکوع سے کم کیا، پھر سر اٹھایا اور سجدہ میں چلے گئے، تو سجدہ کیا، پھر دوسری رکعت میں کھڑے ہوئے اور قیام کو لمبا کیا لیکن پہلے قیام سے کم، پھر رکوع کیا اور پہلے رکوع سے کم، پھر سر اٹھایا اور کھڑے ہوئے لیکن پہلے قیام سے کم، پھر رکوع کیا اور پہلے رکوع سے کم کیا، پھر سر اٹھایا اور سجدہ میں چلے گئے، تو سجدہ کیا، پھر فرمایا، "اے لوگو! بیشک سورج اور چاند اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں، کسی کی موت پر گرہن نہیں لگتے اور نہ ہی کسی کی زندگی کی وجہ سے، تو جب تم یہ دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو اور صدقہ دو اور تکبیر کہو۔" (فرمایا) "اے امت محمد! کیا اللہ سے زیادہ کوئی غیور ہے کہ اس کا بندہ یا اس کی بندی زنا کرے۔ اے امت محمد! اگر تم وہ جانتے جو میں جانتا ہوں تو تم کم ہنستے اور زیادہ روتے۔"
Ayesha raza allah anha bayan karti hain keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke zamane mein suraj grahan hua tou Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam namaz ke liye kharay huay aur qayam ko bohat lamba kiya, phir ruku kiya aur ruku ko bhi bohat lamba kiya, phir sar uthaya aur kharay huay lekin pehle qayam se kam, phir ruku kiya aur pehle ruku se kam kiya, phir sar uthaya aur sajda mein chalay gaye, tou sajda kiya, phir doosri rakat mein kharay huay aur qayam ko lamba kiya lekin pehle qayam se kam, phir ruku kiya aur pehle ruku se kam, phir sar uthaya aur kharay huay lekin pehle qayam se kam, phir ruku kiya aur pehle ruku se kam kiya, phir sar uthaya aur sajda mein chalay gaye, tou sajda kiya, phir farmaya, "Aye logo! Beshak suraj aur chand Allah ki nishaniyon mein se do nishaniyan hain, kisi ki maut per grahan nahi lagte aur na hi kisi ki zindagi ki waja se, tou jab tum yeh dekho tou namaz parho aur sadqa do aur takbeer kaho." (Farmaya) "Aye ummat Muhammad! Kya Allah se zyada koi ghayur hai keh uska banda ya uski bandi zina kare. Aye ummat Muhammad! Agar tum woh jante jo main janta hun tou tum kam hanste aur zyada rote."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ جِدًّا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ جِدًّا ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الْأَوْلِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَانْحَدَرَ بِالسُّجُودِ فَسَجَدَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَا يَنْخَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَصَلُّوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا وَكَبِّرُوا» «يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ إِنْ أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَزْنِيَ عَبْدُهُ أَوْ تَزْنِيَ أُمَّتُهُ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»
