Sahih Ibn Hibban 344
Anas reported: The Companions of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: When we are in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ), we perceive in ourselves a state which we like, but when we return to our families and stay with them we find in ourselves a different state. We mentioned that to the Prophet (ﷺ). Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: By Allah, if you were to remain on the same state of mind as you experience in my presence and in the remembrance (of Allah), the angels would shake hands with you and even their wings would cover you in the heavens, but (it is ordained that they are required for worldly avocations) for a period in the day and for a period in the night.
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعض اصحاب کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کیا کہ ہم جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مجلس میں حاضر ہوتے ہیں اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زیارت سے مشرف ہوتے ہیں تو ہم اپنے دلوں میں ایک خاص کیفیت محسوس کرتے ہیں جو ہمیں بہت پسند ہے لیکن جب ہم اپنی اپنی فیملیز میں واپس جاتے ہیں تو ہمارے دلوں کی وہ کیفیت نہیں رہتی۔ ہم نے یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ کی قسم! اگر تم میری مجلس والی کیفیت پر قائم رہ سکو تو تم سے فرشتے مصافحہ کریں اور تم کو اپنے پروں میں چھپا لیں لیکن تمہارے لیے دنیا کے کچھ کام دن کے لیے ہیں اور کچھ رات کے لیے۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke baaz Ashab Kiram Radi Allaho Anhum ne arz kiya ki hum jab Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki majlis mein hazir hote hain aur Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki ziyarat se musharraf hote hain to hum apne dilon mein ek khas kaifiyat mehsoos karte hain jo humein bahut pasand hai lekin jab hum apni apni families mein wapas jate hain to hamare dilon ki woh kaifiyat nahi rehti. Hum ne ye baat Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se bayan ki to Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Allah ki qasam! Agar tum meri majlis wali kaifiyat per qaimm reh sako to tum se farishte musafaha karein aur tum ko apne paron mein chhupa lein lekin tumhare liye duniya ke kuch kaam din ke liye hain aur kuch raat ke liye.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُدَيْدٍ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّا إِذَا كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَأَيْنَا مِنْ أَنْفُسِنَا مَا نُحِبُّ فَإِذَا رَجَعْنَا إِلَى أَهَالِينَا فَخَالَطْنَاهُمْ أَنْكَرْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْ تَدُومُونَ عَلَى مَا تَكُونُونَ عِنْدِي فِي الْحَالِ لَصَافَحَتْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى تُظِلَّكُمْ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا وَلَكِنْ سَاعَةً وَسَاعَةً»
