Sahih Ibn Hibban 3555
Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out in the year of the Conquest during the month of Ramadan and he fasted until he reached al-Kadid, then he broke his fast. He said: So the companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to follow the most recent of his commands.
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے سال رمضان کے مہینے میں نکلے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزے سے تھے یہاں تک کہ آپ کدید پہنچے تو آپ نے روزہ افطار کر لیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے آخری امر پر عمل کرتے تھے۔
Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Fath Makkah ke saal Ramzan ke mahine mein nikle to aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam rozey se thay yahan tak ki aap Kadid pahunche to aap ne roza iftar kar liya aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya to Rasul Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke sahaba aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke aakhri amr par amal karte thay
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَصَامَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْكَدِيدَ ثُمَّ أَفْطَرَ» قَالَ فَكَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَّبِعُونَ الْأَحْدَثَ فَالْأَحْدَثَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ
