Sahih Ibn Hibban 3816
Abu said: I heard Yazid b. Ruman narrating on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Zubair on the authority of 'A'isha that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: “O 'A'isha, were it not that your people are still close to the Period of Ignorance, I would have demolished the Ka'ba and would have had its door level with the ground, and would have incorporated in it (i. e. the Ka'ba) what was left out of it, and would have made for it two doors, one in the east and the other in the west." He (Abu) said: That was (the reason) why Ibn Zubair intended to demolish it (the Ka'ba) and rebuild it.
ابو سعید کہتے ہیں: میں نے یزید بن رومان کو بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا، عبداللہ بن زبیر سے، انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: اے عائشہ! اگر تیری قوم جاہلیت کے دور سے قریب نہ ہوتی تو میں کعبہ کو ڈھوا کر زمین کے برابر کر دیتا اور اس میں وہ حصہ بھی شامل کر دیتا جو اس سے باہر رہ گیا ہے اور اس کے لیے دو دروازے بناتا، ایک مشرق کی طرف اور دوسرا مغرب کی طرف۔ (ابو سعید کہتے ہیں) اسی وجہ سے ابن زبیر اس (کعبہ) کو ڈھانے اور اسے دوبارہ بنانے کا ارادہ رکھتے تھے۔
Abu Saeed kehte hain: Main ne Yazid bin Roman ko bayan karte hue suna, Abdullah bin Zubair se, unhon ne Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se, unhon ne bayan kiya ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne mujh se farmaya: Ae Ayesha! Agar teri qaum jahiliyat ke daur se qareeb na hoti to main Kaaba ko dhawa kar zameen ke barabar kar deta aur us mein woh hissa bhi shamil kar deta jo us se bahar reh gaya hai aur us ke liye do darwaze banata, ek mashriq ki taraf aur dusra maghrib ki taraf. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ رُومَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا «يَا عَائِشَةُ لَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِجَاهِلِيَّةٍ لَهَدَمْتُ الْبَيْتَ حَتَّى أُدْخِلَ فِيهِ مَا أَخْرَجُوا مِنْهُ فِي الْحِجْرِ فَإِنَّهُمْ عَجَزُوا عَنْ نَفَقَتِهِ وَأَلْصَقْتُهُ بِالْأَرْضِ وَوَضَعْتُهُ عَلَى أَسَاسِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ بَابَيْنِ بَابًا شَرْقِيًّا وَبَابًا غَرْبِيًّا» قَالَ فَكَانَ هَذَا الَّذِي دَعَا ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَى هَدْمِهِ وَبِنَائِهِ
