Sahih Ibn Hibban 4123
Nubeih b. Wahb, one of the sons of 'Abd al-Dar, reported that Umar b. 'Ubaidullah sent (a message) to Ubayy b. 'Uthman (who was then the governor of Mecca) that: “I intend to marry Talha b. 'Umar to the daughter of Shaiba b. Jubair and I desire that you should be present on the occasion.” Ubayy disapproved of this (proposal) and said: I heard 'Uthman b. 'Affan as saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A Muhrim should not contract temporary marriage, nor should he make a proposal of marriage, nor should he be married.
نبیح بن وہب، جو عبد الدار کے بیٹوں میں سے ایک تھے، نے بیان کیا کہ عمر بن عبید اللہ نے (ایک پیغام) ابی بن عثمان (جو اس وقت مکہ کے گورنر تھے) کو بھیجا کہ: "میرا ارادہ ہے کہ طلحہ بن عمر کی شادی شعیب بن جبیر کی بیٹی سے کردوں اور میری خواہش ہے کہ آپ اس موقع پر موجود ہوں۔" ابی نے اس (تجویز) کو ناپسند کیا اور کہا: میں نے عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ایک محرم کو نہ تو عارضی شادی کرنی چاہیے اور نہ ہی اسے شادی کی تجویز دینی چاہیے اور نہ ہی اس کی شادی کرنی چاہیے۔

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ أَحَدِ بَنِي عَبْدِ الدَّارِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ وَأَبَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَمِيرُ الْحَاجِّ وَهُمَا مُحْرِمَانِ إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُنْكِحَ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُمَرَ ابْنَةَ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ تَحْضُرَ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ أَبَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ وَلَا يُنْكِحُ»
