Sahih Ibn Hibban 4360
Ibn Umar narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) caught up with Umar bin Al-Khattab while he was travelling with a group of riders, and he was swearing by his father. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Verily Allah forbids you from swearing by your fathers. So whoever is going to swear an oath, then let him swear by Allah, or else remain silent."
ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کو ایک قافلہ کے ساتھ سفر کرتے ہوئے ملے اور وہ اپنے والد کی قسم کھا رہے تھے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: " اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں تمہارے باپوں کی قسم کھانے سے منع فرماتا ہے، لہذا جو شخص قسم کھائے تو اللہ کی قسم کھائے یا خاموش رہے"۔
Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Umar bin al-Khattab razi Allah anhu ko ek qafila ke sath safar karte hue mile aur wo apne walid ki qasam kha rahe the to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Allah ta'ala tumhen tumhare baapon ki qasam khane se mana farmata hai, lihaza jo shakhs qasam khaye to Allah ki qasam khaye ya khamosh rahe.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ فِي رَكْبٍ وَهُوَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ»
