Sahih Ibn Hibban 4585
Amr ibn Shu'aib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Learn the Quran from (these) four: ... " - he mentioned some names - "...and do not learn it from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, for he did not take it directly from the Prophet (ﷺ) and he was not present with him."
عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے اپنے دادا سے روایت کی کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "قرآن (ان) چار سے سیکھو:..." - انہوں نے کچھ نام لیے - "...اور عبداللہ بن مسعود سے نہ سیکھو، کیونکہ انہوں نے اسے براہ راست نبی ﷺ سے نہیں لیا اور وہ آپ ﷺ کے ساتھ موجود نہیں تھے۔"
Amr bin Shoaib apne walid se riwayat karte hain, unhon ne apne dada se riwayat ki ke maine Rasool Allah SAW ko farmate hue suna: "Quran (in) chaar se seekho:..." - unhon ne kuch naam liye - "...aur Abdullah bin Masood se na seekho, kyunki unhon ne ise seedha Nabi SAW se nahi liya aur wo aap SAW ke sath mojood nahi the."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَهْرٍ قَالَ كَلِمَتَيْنِ سَمِعْتُهُمَا مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ لِي بِوَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا إِحْدَاهُمَا مِنَ النَّجَاشِيِّ وَالْأُخْرَى مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَمَّا الَّتِي سَمِعْتُهَا مِنَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَإِنَّا كُنَّا عِنْدَهُ إِذْ جَاءَهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ مِنَ الْكُتَّابِ فَعَرَضَ لَوْحَهُ قَالَ وَكُنْتُ أَفْهَمُ بَعْضَ كَلَامِهِمْ فَمَرَّ بِآيَةٍ فَضَحِكْتُ فَقَالَ مَا الَّذِي أَضْحَكَكَ؟ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأُنْزِلَتْ مِنْ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ إِنَّ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِذَا كَانَتْ إِمَارَةُ الصِّبْيَانِ وَالَّذِي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «اسْمَعُوا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَدَعُوا فِعْلَهُمْ»
