Sahih Ibn Hibban 4736
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If it were not that I would burden my community, I would not stay behind from any expedition in the cause of Allah. But I cannot find the means to convey them, and they cannot find the means to go out. It grieves them to stay behind from me. I would love to fight in the cause of Allah and be killed, then brought back to life and killed, then brought back to life and killed."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "اگر مجھے اپنی امت پر بوجھ ڈالنے کا خوف نہ ہوتا تو میں اللہ کی راہ میں کسی غزوہ سے پیچھے نہ رہتا۔ لیکن میں انہیں (جہاد پر) لے جانے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا اور نہ ہی ان کے پاس جانے کی طاقت ہے۔ میرے پیچھے رہ جانے کا انہیں غم ہوتا ہے۔ مجھے اللہ کی راہ میں لڑ کر شہید ہونا، پھر زندہ کیا جانا، پھر لڑ کر شہید ہونا، پھر زندہ کیا جانا اور پھر لڑ کر شہید ہونا محبوب ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya, "Agar mujhe apni ummat par bojh dalne ka khauf na hota to main Allah ki raah mein kisi ghazwa se peeche na rehta. Lekin main unhen (jihad par) le jane ki taqat nahin rakhta aur na hi unke paas jane ki taqat hai. Mere peeche reh jane ka unhen gham hota hai. Mujhe Allah ki raah mein ladh kar shaheed hona, phir zinda kiya jana, phir ladh kar shaheed hona, phir zinda kiya jana aur phir ladh kar shaheed hona mahboob hai."
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ لَا أَتَخَلَّفَ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَخْرُجُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ مَا يَتَحَمَّلُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَيَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِي وَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أَحْيَا فَأُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أَحْيَا فَأُقْتَلُ»
