Sahih Ibn Hibban 4815b
Al-Walid said: I mentioned it to Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, and he said: I heard Az-Zuhri narrating from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurairah, that he heard him narrating to Sa'id ibn al-'As... The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent out a detachment towards Najd, led by Aban ibn Sa'id ibn al-'As. He came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, after the conquest of Khaybar, and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, do not give them a share." Aban became angry, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Slowly, O Aban." And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, refused to give them a share of anything.
الولید نے کہا: میں نے یہ سعید بن عبدالعزیز سے ذکر کیا تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے زہری سے سنا، وہ سعید بن مسیب سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے ابوہریرہ سے سنا، انہوں نے سعید بن العاص کو یہ واقعہ سناتے ہوئے سنا... رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نجد کی طرف ایک دستہ بھیجا جس کی قیادت ابان بن سعید بن العاص کر رہے تھے۔ وہ خیبر کی فتح کے بعد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو میں نے کہا: "یا رسول اللہ! انہیں حصہ نہ دیں۔" ابان غصے ہو گئے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "آہستہ ابان!" اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں کسی چیز میں سے حصہ دینے سے انکار کر دیا۔

Aban gusse ho gaye to Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Aahistha Aban!" aur Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne inhen kisi cheez mein se hissa dene se inkar kar diya.
قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً قِبَلَ نَجْدٍ عَلَيْهَا أَبَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ فَقَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَا تَقْسِمْ لَهُمْ فَقَالَ فَغَضِبَ أَبَانُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَهْلًا يَا أَبَانُ» وَأَبَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا
