Sahih Ibn Hibban 6209
Mus'ab bin Sa'd reported from his father: The Qur'an was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he recited it to them for a while. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would narrate stories to us." So Allah revealed, "{الر These are the verses of the clear Book.}" until His saying, "{We narrate to you the best of stories.}" Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited it to them for a while, and they said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would tell us stories." So Allah revealed, "{Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration.}" All this while they were being commanded to [focus on] the Qur'an. Khallad said, "And he added in it, 'When they said, 'O Messenger of Allah remind us,' Allah revealed, "{Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah}"'
مسعب بن سعدؓ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ پر قرآن نازل ہوتا تھا، تو آپ ﷺ کچھ دیر تک انہیں سناتے، وہ کہتے: اللہ کے رسول! کاش! آپ ہمیں قصے سنائیں، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: {الر تلك آيات الكتاب المبين} ”المۤ۔ یہ آیتیں ہیں روشن کتاب کی“۔ یہاں تک فرمایا: {نحن نقص عليك احسن القصص} ”(اے پیغمبر!) ہم تمہیں بہترین قصہ سناتے ہیں“۔ پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ کچھ دیر تک انہیں سناتے، وہ کہتے: اللہ کے رسول! کاش! آپ ہمیں قصے سنائیں، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: {الله نزل احسن الحديث كتابا متشابها} ”اللہ نے سب سے بہترین بات نازل فرمائی ہے ایک ایسی کتاب جس کی آیتیں آپس میں ملتی جلتی ہیں“۔ یہ سب کچھ اس حال میں کہ انہیں قرآن کا حکم دیا جا رہا تھا، خالد نے کہا: اور آپ نے اس حدیث میں یہ بھی کہا کہ: جب انہوں نے کہا کہ: اللہ کے رسول! ہمیں نصیحت فرمائیے، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی {الم يان للذين آمنوا ان تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله} ”کیا ان لوگوں کے لیے ابھی وہ وقت نہیں آیا کہ ان کے دل اللہ کے ذکر سے نرم ہو جائیں“۔
Musab bin Sad apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki Rasool Allah par Quran nazil hota tha, to aap kuch der tak unhen sunate, woh kehte: Allah ke Rasool! Kash! Aap hamen qisse sunaen, to Allah Ta'ala ne yeh ayat nazil farmaee: {الر تلك آيات الكتاب المبين} ”الم۔ Yeh aayaten hain roshan kitab ki“. Yahan tak farmaya: {نحن نقص عليك احسن القصص} ”(Ae paighambar!) Hum tumhen behtarin qissa sunate hain“. Phir Rasool Allah kuch der tak unhen sunate, woh kehte: Allah ke Rasool! Kash! Aap hamen qisse sunaen, to Allah Ta'ala ne yeh ayat nazil farmaee: {الله نزل احسن الحديث كتابا متشابها} ”Allah ne sab se behtarin baat nazil farmaee hai ek aisi kitab jis ki aayaten aapas mein milti julti hain“. Yeh sab kuch is hal mein ki unhen Quran ka hukum diya ja raha tha, Khalid ne kaha: aur aap ne is hadees mein yeh bhi kaha ki: Jab unhon ne kaha ki: Allah ke Rasool! Hamen nasihat farmaie, to Allah Ta'ala ne yeh ayat nazil farmaee {الم يان للذين آمنوا ان تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله} ”Kya in logon ke liye abhi woh waqt nahin aaya ki un ke dil Allah ke zikr se narm ho jaen“
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَّادٌ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَتَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ زَمَانًا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ قَصَصْتَ عَلَيْنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ} فَتَلَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ زَمَانًا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ حَدَّثْتَنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُتَشَابِهًا} الْآيَةَ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يُؤْمَرُونَ بِالْقُرْآنِ» قَالَ خَلَّادٌ وَزَادَ فِيهِ حِينَ* قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَكِّرْنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ}
