Sahih Ibn Hibban 6593
Uneys bin Abi Yahya narrated to us on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us during his illness in which he passed away, with his head bandaged. I followed him until he stood on the pulpit and said, "Indeed, I am standing at the Basin." Then he said, "Indeed, a slave was given the choice between this world and its adornment, and he chose the Hereafter." No one from the people understood it except Abu Bakr. He said, "My father and mother be sacrificed for you! We will ransom you with our wealth, our souls, and our children." He (the Prophet) then descended from the pulpit and was not seen by him (Abu Saeed) again.
عن أنس بن أبي يحيى، عن أبيه، عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال: خرج إلينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في مرضه الذي توفي فيه وعليه عصابة قد عصب بها رأسه، فتبعته حتى وقف على المنبر فقال: «إني والله لأنظر إلى حوضي» قال: «وإنه لعرض عليّ الدنيا وزينتها فاخترت عليها الآخرة» قال: فلم يفقهها منه أحد إلا أبو بكر رضي الله عنه، فقال: بأبي أنت وأمي، فداك بآبائنا وأمهاتنا، نفديك بأنفسنا وأموالنا وأولادنا، قال: فنزل عن المنبر فلم يره بعد ذلك.
An Anas bin Abi Yahya, an abihi, an Abi Saeed al-Khudri Radi Allahu anhu qal: kharaja ilaina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam fi maradihi allazi tufi fihi wa alaihi isabatin qad asaba biha ra-sahu, fataba'tuhu hatta waqafa ala al-minbari faqal: "Inni Wallahi lananzuru ila hawdi" qal: "Wa innahu la-'ard 'alaiya al-dunya wa zinatuha fakhtartu 'alaiha al-akhirah" qal: falam yafqaha minhu ahad illa Abu Bakr Radi Allahu anhu, faqal: bi abi anta wa ummi, fidak bi aba'ina wa ummatina, nafdhika bi anfusina wa amwalina wa awladina, qal: fanazala an al-minbari falam yarahu ba'd dhalik.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أُنَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَهُوَ مَعْصُوبُ الرَّأْسِ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ حَتَّى قَامَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي السَّاعَةَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ عَبْدًا عُرِضَتْ عَلَيْهِ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا فَاخْتَارَ الْآخِرَةَ» فَلَمْ يَفْطِنْ لَهَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي بَلْ نَفْدِيكَ بِأَمْوَالِنَا وَأَنْفُسِنَا وَأَوْلَادِنَا قَالَ ثُمَّ هَبَطَ مِنَ الْمِنْبَرِ فَمَا رُئِيَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ
