Sahih Ibn Hibban 6638
Abu Zaid, whose name was Amr bin Aktab, said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the Fajr prayer, then he ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon until the time for the Dhuhr prayer became due. Then he came down, prayed, ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon until the time for the Asr prayer became due. Then he came down, prayed, and ascended the pulpit and delivered a sermon until sunset. He told us about what had happened and what was going to happen. And I was amongst the most knowledgeable of them”
ابو زید، جن کا نام عمرو بن اختب تھا، نے کہا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں فجر کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر آپ منبر پر تشریف لے گئے اور ظہر کے وقت ہونے تک خطبہ ارشاد فرماتے رہے۔ پھر آپ نیچے اترے، نماز ادا کی، منبر پر تشریف لے گئے اور عصر کی نماز کا وقت ہونے تک خطبہ ارشاد فرماتے رہے۔ پھر آپ نیچے اترے، نماز ادا کی اور منبر پر چڑھ کر سورج غروب ہونے تک خطبہ ارشاد فرماتے رہے۔ آپ نے ہمیں بتایا کہ کیا ہوا تھا اور کیا ہونے والا ہے۔ اور میں ان میں سب سے زیادہ علم والا تھا"۔
Abu Zaid, jin ka naam Amro bin Akhtb tha, ne kaha: "Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hamen fajr ki namaz parhayi, phir aap mimbar par tashreef le gaye aur zuhar ke waqt hone tak khutba irshad farmate rahe. Phir aap neeche utre, namaz ada ki, mimbar par tashreef le gaye aur asr ki namaz ka waqt hone tak khutba irshad farmate rahe. Phir aap neeche utre, namaz ada ki aur mimbar par chad kar suraj ghuroob hone tak khutba irshad farmate rahe. Aap ne hamen bataya ki kya hua tha aur kya hone wala hai. Aur main un mein sab se zyada ilm wala tha".
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِلْبَاءُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَيْدٍ اسْمُهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ أَخْطَبَ قَالَ «صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَ حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الظُّهْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتِ الْعَصْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَحَدَّثَنَا بِمَا كَانَ وَبِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا»
