Sahih Ibn Hibban 7049
Kathir ibn al-'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib narrated from his father: I witnessed the Battle of Hunayn alongside the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and there was no one with him except me and Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib. We stayed close to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and we did not leave him. He was riding a gray mule - and perhaps he said a white mule - that was given to him as a gift by Farwah ibn Nufathah al-Judhami. When the Muslims and the disbelievers met, the Muslims turned back in defeat. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, began to gallop his mule towards the disbelievers. Al-'Abbas said: I was holding the reins of the mule of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, holding it back, while he spared no effort in urging it towards the polytheists. Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith was holding the staff of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "O 'Abbas, call out, 'O people of the Samurah!'" I was a man with a loud voice, so I called out in my loudest voice, "O people of the Samurah!" By Allah, it was as if their turning back when they heard my voice was like the turning back of cattle to their calves. They said, "Here we are! Here we are!" The Muslims then came forward and fought against the disbelievers. The Ansar cried out, "O people of the Ansar!" Then the call was limited to the sons of al-Harith ibn al-Khazraj, so they called out, "O sons of al-Harith ibn al-Khazraj!" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, looked on from his mule as if he were stretching his neck to see their fighting. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "This is when the fighting has intensified." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, picked up some pebbles and threw them at the faces of the disbelievers. Then he said, "They have been routed, by the Lord of the Ka'bah! They have been routed, by the Lord of the Ka'bah!" He said: I went to see, and the battle was still raging, as far as I could see. By Allah, no sooner had the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, thrown his pebbles than I saw their number as few and their situation as routed, until Allah defeated them. He said: It was as if I could see the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, galloping behind them on his mule.
کثیر بن العباس بن عبد المطلب اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں: میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ جنگ حنین میں شریک تھا۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، اور آپ کے ساتھ میرے اور ابو سفیان بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب کے سوا کوئی نہ تھا۔ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے قریب رہے اور آپ کو نہ چھوڑا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک سرمئی خچر پر سوار تھے - اور شاید آپ نے سفید خچر کہا ہو - جو آپ کو فروہ بن نفطہ الجدھامی نے ہدیہ کیا تھا۔ جب مسلمانوں اور کافروں کا آمنا سامنا ہوا تو مسلمان شکست کھا کر پیچھے ہٹ گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے خچر کو کافروں کی طرف دوڑانا شروع کیا۔ عباس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خچر کی لگام تھامے ہوئے تھا، اسے روکے ہوئے تھا، جبکہ آپ اسے مشرکین کی طرف لے جانے کی پوری کوشش کر رہے تھے۔ ابو سفیان بن الحارث رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی لاٹھی تھامے ہوئے تھے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اے عباس! پکارو، 'اے اہل صمورہ!'" میں بلند آواز والا آدمی تھا، سو میں نے اپنی بلند ترین آواز میں پکارا، "اے اہل صمورہ!" اللہ کی قسم! گویا میری آواز سن کر ان کا پلٹنا ایسے تھا جیسے بچھڑوں کی طرف مویشیوں کا پلٹنا ہو۔ وہ کہنے لگے، "ہم حاضر ہیں! ہم حاضر ہیں!" پھر مسلمان آگے بڑھے اور کافروں سے لڑے۔ انصار نے پکارا، "اے اہل انصار!" پھر یہ نعرہ صرف حارث بن الخزرج رضی اللہ عنہ کی اولاد تک محدود ہو گیا، تو انہوں نے پکارا، "اے حارث بن الخزرج کی اولاد!" رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے خچر پر سے یوں دیکھ رہے تھے گویا اپنی گردن کو کھینچ کر ان کی لڑائی دیکھ رہے ہوں۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اب لڑائی شدت اختیار کر گئی ہے۔" پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چند کنکریاں اٹھائیں اور کافروں کے چہروں پر پھینکیں۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "یہ اللہ کے گھر کے رب کی قسم! یہ شکست کھا گئے، اللہ کے گھر کے رب کی قسم! یہ شکست کھا گئے!" انہوں نے کہا: میں دیکھنے کے لیے گیا، اور جہاں تک میری نظر جاتی تھی، جنگ ابھی تک جاری تھی۔ اللہ کی قسم! رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابھی اپنی کنکریاں پھینکی ہی تھیں کہ میں نے ان کی تعداد کو کم اور ان کی حالت کو شکست خوردہ دیکھا، یہاں تک کہ اللہ نے انہیں شکست دے دی۔ انہوں نے کہا: گویا میں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنے خچر پر ان کے پیچھے پیچھا کرتے ہوئے دیکھ سکتا تھا۔
Kaseer bin Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib apne walid se riwayat karte hain: Main Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath جنگ Hunain mein shareek tha. Main ne Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko dekha, aur aap ke sath mere aur Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith bin Abdul Muttalib ke siwa koi na tha. Hum Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke qareeb rahe aur aap ko na chhoda. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ek surmai khachchar par sawar thay - aur shayad aap ne safed khachchar kaha ho - jo aap ko Farwah bin Naufal Al-Judhami ne hadiya kiya tha. Jab Musalmanon aur kafiro ka aamna samna hua to Musalman shikast kha kar peeche hat gaye. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne khachchar ko kafiro ki taraf daurana shuru kiya. Abbas radi Allah anhu ne kaha: Main Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke khachchar ki lagam thame huye tha, use roke huye tha, jabke aap use mushrikeen ki taraf le jane ki puri koshish kar rahe thay. Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith radi Allah anhu Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki lathi thame huye thay. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Aye Abbas! Pukaro, 'Aye Ahle Samurah!'" Main buland aawaz wala aadmi tha, so main ne apni buland tareen aawaz mein pukara, "Aye Ahle Samurah!" Allah ki qasam! Goya meri aawaz sun kar un ka palatna aise tha jaise bachron ki taraf moishio ka palatna ho. Woh kahne lage, "Hum hazir hain! Hum hazir hain!" Phir Musalman aage barhe aur kafiro se lare. Ansar ne pukara, "Aye Ahle Ansar!" Phir yeh nara sirf Harith bin Khazraj radi Allah anhu ki aulad tak mahdood ho gaya, to unhon ne pukara, "Aye Harith bin Khazraj ki aulad!" Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam apne khachchar par se yun dekh rahe thay goya apni gardan ko khench kar un ki larai dekh rahe hon. Phir Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Ab larai shiddat ikhtiyar kar gayi hai." Phir Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne chand kankariyan uthai aur kafiro ke chehron par phenki. Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh Allah ke ghar ke Rab ki qasam! Yeh shikast kha gaye, Allah ke ghar ke Rab ki qasam! Yeh shikast kha gaye!" Unhon ne kaha: Main dekhne ke liye gaya, aur jahan tak meri nazar jati thi, jang abhi tak jari thi. Allah ki qasam! Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne abhi apni kankariyan phenki hi thi ke main ne un ki tadaad ko kam aur un ki halat ko shikast khurda dekha, yahan tak ke Allah ne unhen shikast de di. Unhon ne kaha: Goya main Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko apne khachchar par un ke peeche peechha karte huye dekh sakta tha.
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَمَا مَعَهُ إِلَّا أَنَا وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَلَزِمْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ نُفَارِقْهُ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ شَهْبَاءَ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ بَيْضَاءَ أَهْدَاهَا لَهُ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ نُفَاثَةَ الْجُذَامِيُّ فَلَمَّا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْكُفَّارُ وَلَّى الْمُسْلِمُونَ مُدْبِرِينَ وَطَفِقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْكُضُ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ قِبَلَ الْكُفَّارِ قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ وَأَنَا آخِذٌ بِلِجَامِ بَغْلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكُفُّهَا وَهُوَ لَا يَأْلُو يُسْرِعُ نَحْوَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَأَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ آخِذٌ بِغَرْزِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا عَبَّاسُ نَادِ يَا أَصْحَابَ السَّمُرَةِ» وَكُنْتُ رَجُلًا صَيِّتًا وَقُلْتُ بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِي يَا أَصْحَابَ السَّمُرَةِ فَوَاللَّهِ لَكَأَنَّ عَطْفَتَهُمْ حِينَ سَمِعُوا صَوْتِي عَطْفَةُ الْبَقَرِ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا يَقُولُونَ يَا لَبَّيْكَ يَا لَبَّيْكَ فَأَقْبَلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَاقْتَتَلُوا هُمْ وَالْكُفَّارُ فَنَادَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ قُصِرَتِ الدَّعْوَةُ عَلَى بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ فَنَادُوا يَا بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ كَالْمُتَطَاوِلِ عَلَيْهَا إِلَى قِتَالِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «هَذَا حِينَ حَمِيَ الْوَطِيسُ» ثُمَّ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَصَيَاتٍ فَرَمَى بِهِنَّ وجُوهَ الْكُفَّارِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «انْهَزَمُوا وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ انْهَزَمُوا وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ» قَالَ فَذَهَبْتُ أَنْظُرُ فَإِذَا الْقِتَالُ عَلَى هَيْئَتِهِ فِيمَا أَرَى فَوَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ رَمَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِحَصَيَاتِهِ فَمَا أَرَى حَدَّهُمْ إِلَّا كَلِيلًا وَأَمْرَهُمْ إِلَّا مُدْبِرًا حَتَّى هَزَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ وَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَرْكُضُ خَلْفَهُمْ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ
