Sahih Ibn Hibban 7161
Anas ibn Malik narrated that, a man from the people of the book came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “I ask you about three things, which none knows except a Prophet. What is the first of the signs of the Hour? What is the first food that the people of Paradise will eat? And for what reason does a child resemble its father, and for what reason does it resemble its maternal uncles?” The Prophet ﷺ said: “Gabriel has just now told me of that.” He said: “Gabriel?” He said: “Yes.” He said: “That is the enemy of the Jews from amongst the Angels.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “The first sign of the Hour will be a fire that will come out from the East and will drive the people to the West. The first food that the people of Paradise will eat will be the extra lobe of the fish-liver. With regard to the reason by which a child resembles its father and its maternal uncles, then (it is like this) if the water of the man precedes the water of the woman, the child will resemble him, and if the water of the woman precedes the water of the man, the child will resemble her maternal uncles.” So he said: “I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah.” He said: “O Messenger of Allah! Verily, the Jews are a people who are given to false accusations. Test them (about me) and ask them which man amongst them I am, before they come to know of my Islam.” So a group of them came, and the Prophet ﷺ asked them: “Which man amongst you is ‘Abdullah bin Salam?” They said: “The best of us, and the son of the best of us, and our leader, and the son of our leader, and the most learned of us, and the son of the most learned of us.” The Prophet ﷺ said to them: “Tell me, what do you think if he were to embrace Islam?” They said: “May Allah protect him from that!” So ‘Abdullah bin Salam came out to them and said: “I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah!” So they said: “The worst of us, and the son of the worst of us.” ‘Abdullah said: “This is what I feared.”
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ اہل کتاب میں سے ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی: میں آپ سے تین باتوں کے بارے میں پوچھنا چاہتا ہوں جنہیں آپ کے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا۔ قیامت کی پہلی نشانی کیا ہوگی؟ جنتی لوگ سب سے پہلے کیا کھائیں گے؟ اور بچے کیوں اپنے باپ اور ماموں سے مشابہ ہوتے ہیں؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابھی ابھی جبریل علیہ السلام نے مجھے یہ بتایا ہے۔ اس شخص نے کہا: جبریل نے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں۔ اس نے کہا: یہ تو یہودیوں کا دشمن فرشتہ ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قیامت کی پہلی نشانی مشرق سے ایک آگ کا ظاہر ہونا ہوگا جو لوگوں کو مغرب کی طرف ہانکے گی۔ جنتی لوگ سب سے پہلے مچھلی کے جگر کا ایک ٹکڑا کھائیں گے۔ رہی مشابہت والی بات تو اگر مرد کا پانی عورت کے پانی سے پہلے آجائے تو بچہ اس کے مشابہ ہوگا اور اگر عورت کا پانی مرد کے پانی سے پہلے آجائے تو بچہ اس کے ماموں سے مشابہ ہوگا۔ اس پر اس شخص نے کہا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔ پھر اس نے کہا کہ اللہ کے رسول! یہودی بہتان لگانے والے لوگ ہیں۔ میرے بارے میں ان سے دریافت فرما لیجیے کہ ان کے خیال میں میں کون ہوں، اس سے پہلے کہ وہ میرے اسلام لانے کے بارے میں جان لیں۔ چنانچہ ان میں سے کچھ لوگ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے دریافت فرمایا: تمہارے خیال میں عبداللہ بن سلام کون ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہمارے سردار، ہمارے بہترین آدمی کا بیٹا، اور ہم میں سب سے زیادہ علم والا اور سب سے زیادہ علم والے کا بیٹا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: اگر یہ اسلام قبول کر لے تو تمہارا کیا خیال ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: اللہ اس سے (اسلام سے) محفوظ رکھے۔ اس پر عبداللہ بن سلام باہر آئے اور کہا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں۔ یہ سن کر وہ کہنے لگے: یہ ہمارے شریر ترین شخص اور شریر ترین شخص کا بیٹا ہے۔ اس پر عبداللہ بن سلام نے کہا: یہی تو وہ چیز تھی جس کا مجھے ڈر تھا۔
Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain ki ahl e kitab mein se ek shakhs Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz ki: mein aap se teen baaton ke baare mein puchhna chahta hun jinhen aap ke siwa koi nahin janta. Qayamat ki pehli nishani kya hogi? Jannati log sab se pehle kya khaenge? Aur bache kyun apne baap aur mamun se mushabih hote hain? Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: abhi abhi Jibraeel Alaihissalam ne mujhe ye bataya hai. Iss shakhs ne kaha: Jibraeel ne? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: haan. Iss ne kaha: ye to yahudiyon ka dushman farishta hai. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: qayamat ki pehli nishani mashriq se ek aag ka zahir hona hoga jo logon ko maghrib ki taraf hankengi. Jannati log sab se pehle machhli ke jigar ka ek tukda khaenge. Rahi mushabihat wali baat to agar mard ka pani aurat ke pani se pehle aajae to bacha iss ke mushabih hoga aur agar aurat ka pani mard ke pani se pehle aajae to bacha iss ke mamun se mushabih hoga. Iss par iss shakhs ne kaha ki mein gawahi deta hun ki Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin aur aap Allah ke Rasool hain. Phir iss ne kaha ki Allah ke Rasool! Yahudi bohtan lagane wale log hain. Mere baare mein un se daryaft farma lijiye ki un ke khayal mein mein kaun hun, iss se pehle ki woh mere Islam lane ke baare mein jaan lein. Chunancha un mein se kuchh log Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aae to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne un se daryaft farmaya: tumhare khayal mein Abdullah bin Salam kaun hai? Unhon ne kaha: humare sardar, humare behtarin aadmi ka beta, aur hum mein sab se zyada ilm wala aur sab se zyada ilm wale ka beta hai. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne un se farmaya: agar ye Islam qubool kar le to tumhara kya khayal hai? Unhon ne kaha: Allah iss se (Islam se) mahfooz rakhe. Iss par Abdullah bin Salam bahar aae aur kaha ki mein gawahi deta hun ki Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin. Ye sun kar woh kehne lage: ye humare sharir tareen shakhs aur sharir tareen shakhs ka beta hai. Iss par Abdullah bin Salam ne kaha: yahi to woh cheez thi jiska mujhe dar tha.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلَّامٍ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَقْدَمَهُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَائِلُكَ عَنْ ثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ لَا يَعْلَمُهُنَّ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ قَالَ ﷺ «سَلْ» قَالَ مَا أَوَّلُ أَمْرِ السَّاعَةِ أَوْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ؟ وَمَا أَوَّلُ مَا يَأْكُلُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ وَمِمَّ يَنْزِعُ الْوَلَدُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ وَإِلَى أُمِّهِ؟ قَالَ ﷺ «أَخْبَرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ بِهِنَّ آنِفًا» قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَ ذَاكَ عَدُوُّ الْيَهُودِ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ قَالَ ﷺ «أَمَّا أَوَّلُ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَوْ أَمْرِ السَّاعَةِ نَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ إِلَى الْمَغْرِبِ وَأَمَّا أَوَّلُ مَا يَأْكُلُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فَزِيَادَةُ كَبِدِ حُوتٍ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْزِعُ الْوَلَدُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ وَإِلَى أُمِّهِ فَإِذَا سَبَقَ مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ مَاءَ الْمَرْأَةِ نَزَعَ الْوَلَدُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ وَإِذَا سَبَقَ مَاءُ الْمَرْأَةِ مَاءَ الرَّجُلِ نَزَعَ الْوَلَدُ إِلَى أُمِّهِ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ قَوْمٌ بُهْتَةٌ اسْتَنْزِلْهُمْ وَسَلْهُمْ أَيُّ رَجُلٍ أَنَا فِيهِمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَعْلَمُوا بِإِسْلَامِي فَجَاءَ مِنْهُمْ رَهْطٌ فَسَأَلَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَيُّ رَجُلٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ؟ » قَالُوا خَيْرُنَا وَابْنُ خَيْرِنَا وَسَيِّدُنَا وَابْنُ سَيِّدِنَا وَأَعْلَمُنَا وَابْنُ أَعْلَمِنَا فَقَالَ لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَسْلَمَ؟ » قَالُوا أَعَاذَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ وَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالُوا شَرُّنَا وَابْنُ شَرِّنَا قَالَ يَقُولُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَتَخَوَّفُ «
