Sahih Ibn Hibban 7294
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best people of the East are the people of 'Abd al-Qays. The people embraced Islam unwillingly, but they (Abd al-Qays) embraced it willingly."
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”مشرق والوں میں سے بہترین لوگ عبدالقيس کے لوگ ہيں، لوگوں نے اكراہ سے اسلام قبول کيا مگر انہوں نے (عبد القيس) نے خوشی سے قبول کيا۔“
Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Mashriq walon mein se behtarin log Abul Qais ke log hain logon ne ikrah se Islam qubool kya magar unhon ne Abul Qais ne khushi se qubool kya
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زِمَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُبَيْلُ بْنُ عَزْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ عَبْدُ الْقَيْسِ أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ كَرْهًا وَأَسْلَمُوا طَائِعِينَ»
