Sahih Ibn Hibban 7325
Jarir narrated to us from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqamah, on the authority of Abdullah, who said: A man from the People of the Book came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "Verily, Allah holds the heavens upon a finger, and the water and the earth upon a finger, and all of creation upon a finger, then He says, 'I am the King!'" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) laughed until his molars became visible, then he recited this verse: {And they have not esteemed Allah with true estimation, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.}
’’اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن زمین کو سمیٹ لے گا اور آسمانوں کو اپنے دہنے ہاتھ میں لپیٹ دے گا۔ وہ بلند و بالا ہے ان شریکوں سے جو وہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔‘‘
Allah Taala Qayamat ke din zameen ko samet le ga aur asmanon ko apne dahne hath mein lapet de ga. Woh buland o bala hai in sharikon se jo woh bayan karte hain.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ وَالْمَاءَ وَالثَّرَى عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ وَالْخَلَائِقَ كُلَّهَا عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ «فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ}»
