Sahih Ibn Hibban 901
Uthman bin Abi Al-'As and a woman from the tribe of Quraish reported: We heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “O Allah, forgive my sins, intentional and unintentional.” The other narrator said: I heard him saying, “O Allah, I seek Your guidance for the best of my affairs and I seek Your protection from the evil within myself.”
عثمان بن ابی العاص اور قریش کی ایک عورت نے بیان کیا: ہم نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا، ”اے اللہ! میرے گناہ معاف فرما دے، چاہے وہ جان بوجھ کر کیے گئے ہوں یا انجانے میں۔“ دوسرے راوی نے کہا: میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا، ”اے اللہ! میں اپنے کاموں میں بہترین رہنمائی کے لیے آپ سے مدد مانگتا ہوں اور اپنے نفس کے شر سے آپ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔“
Usman bin Abi Al Aas aur Quresh ki aik aurat ne bayan kiya: Hum ne Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate huye suna, “Aye Allah! Mere gunah maaf farma de, chahe woh jaan boojh kar kiye gaye hon ya anjane mein.” Dusre raavi ne kaha: Maine unhen ye farmate huye suna, “Aye Allah! Mein apne kaamon mein behtarin rahnumai ke liye aapse madad mangta hun aur apne nafs ke shar se aapki panaah mangta hun.”
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ * عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ وامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ* أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَخَطَايَايَ وَعَمْدِي» وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَهْدِيكَ لِأَرْشَدِ أُمُورِي وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي»
