Chapter: Saying The Phrases Of The Iqamah Once

باب إِفْرَادِ الإِقَامَةِ

Sunan Ibn Majah 729

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, they looked for something by means of which they could call out informing of (the time of) the prayer. Then Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was commanded to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once.'


Grade: Sahih

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ لوگوں کو ایسی چیز کی تلاش ہوئی جس کے ذریعہ لوگوں کو نماز کے اوقات کی واقفیت ہو جائے، تو بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم ہوا کہ وہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو بار، اور اقامت کے کلمات ایک ایک بار کہیں ۔

Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke logon ko aisi cheez ki talash hoi jis ke zariye logon ko namaz ke auqat ki waqifat ho jaye, to Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko hukm hua ke woh azan ke kalmaat do do bar, aur iqamat ke kalmaat ek ek bar kahen

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْتَمَسُوا شَيْئًا يُؤْذِنُونَ بِهِ عِلْمًا لِلصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 730

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا گیا کہ وہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو بار، اور اقامت کے کلمات ایک ایک بار کہیں۔

Anas RaZi Allahu anhu kehte hain ke Bilal RaZi Allahu anhu ko hukm Diya gaya ke woh azan ke kalimat do do bar, aur iqamat ke kalimat ek ek bar kahen.

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 731

Abdur-Rahman bin Sa'd bin 'Ammar bin Sa'd, the Muadh-dhin of the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) narrated that in the Adhan of Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه), the phrases were two by two, and in his Iqama they were said once.


Grade: Da'if

رسول اللہ ﷺ کے مؤذن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو بار، اور اقامت کے کلمات ایک ایک بار کہتے تھے۔

Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke Mu'azzin Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se Riwayat hai ke Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Azan ke Kalimat Do Do Bar, aur Iqamat ke Kalimat Ek Ek Bar kahte the.

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَمَّارُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ أَذَانَ بِلَالٍ كَانَ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِقَامَتَهُ مُفْرَدَةٌ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 732

It was narrated that Abu Rafi' (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, he saw Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) calling the Adhan in front of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), (saying the phrases) two by two, and saying each phrase once in the Iqama.'


Grade: Da'if

ابورافع کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو رسول اللہ ﷺ کے سامنے اذان دیتے دیکھا، وہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو بار کہہ رہے تھے، اور اقامت کے کلمات ایک ایک بار ۔

Abu Raaf'a kehte hain ke main ne Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne azan dete dekha, wo azan ke kalmaat do do bar keh rahe the, aur iqamat ke kalmaat ek ek bar

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُعَمَّرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُقِيمُ وَاحِدَةً .
